Not yet used in the rain but the roll top rubberised design suggests they will be OK. Payload is only 2kg per bag (not stated in the description) which is on the low side and it is not suggested that the optional frame (not purchased) would increase this. However I think it possible that some quality DIY fixings could improve this.
