Great product , better than expected

I have always used givi boxes in the past but I thought I would try a shad and have not been disappointed. Overall its a nicely made box and looks good with the carbon top piece. The only criticism I have is the lock was very stiff in use from new and top box did not want to lock in place to the plate which came with the box . The cure was to spray a little grease into the lock key hole and into the locking mechanism at the base and everything seems to work very well now . I think the construction of the shad isn't quite a good as givi , the case seems to be of a slightly thinner plastic and doesn't feel quite as solid but as I've said I'm not disappointed, it is a nice quality box and I'm sure it will last pretty well with the daily use it's going to get.

The SH34 Carbon is a smaller sized top box which features an innovative design offering the practicality and compact look wanted on a smaller box but able to fit accessories and one full face helmet inside. The SH34 Carbon top box has been manufactured with great attention to aesthetic details, with a well rounded body with integrated reflectors and a stylish carbon finish, which is also interchangeable. Every SH34 Carbon incorporates a fully waterproof system, made possible by a double profile rubber edge gasket, sealing all points that water could enter. The SH34 Carbon is engineered to be one of the lightest boxes in its category, as both the top box base and cover are designed with the minimum thickness, whilst still having the same resistance to shocks and scratches, thus being lighter than another case with the same volume.
