Givi SR4124 Specific Rear Rack - Kawasaki Z900 RS (18-21)

Bit of a pain to fit as you have to take the whole tail off but if you follow the instructions and take your time it's quite simple.
when fitting it onto the bike, do the front bolts first, just enough to hold, then the 4 back bolts to hold the tail on, it's a pain to line up the front holes if the back ones are in first!

Quite easy to fit after a little persuasion to open up the width where it bolts on at the ends. Reasonably good powder coat, not the thickest coat. I had to remove my tail tidy and refit the original rear mudguard assembly so that the underside bolts fitted correctly on my Z900 RS.

On examination the welds and coating look faultless. The instructions are fairly good but did need a lot of examination before I fully understood them. I bought the Givi rack as I have fitted other Givi carriers to to other bikes and that have all fitted perfectly. It eventually all made sense and so I took my time and managed to fit the carrier without breaking anything. It is winter and I won't be riding it before mid March so I can't say much about how it performs. That said it is no some flimsy thing that will fall off. It looks well made and I am confident that it will do what I want. That is to provide support for a huge roll top bag I bought for holiday trips. It will stop the bag sagging over the rear light and indicators. Later I may fit a top box base connector to it and top box. It's all do-able. Good price and a swift delivery from SportsBikeShop.
