Givi PL3112 Tubular Pannier Holders - Suzuki DL650 A V-Strom (17-19)

Usual sportsbikeshop service and usual Givi quality. Very easy to assemble, straightforward instructions. The Monokey points are easily removable (top one has a rear cover which requires a bit of a tug to pop off) to allow the use of soft luggage.

Put this rack on my dl650 with no problems, quality product and made to measure. Had read advice elsewhere to not tighten up bolts until it was all fitted which made it easier to align things. Keeping some of the spacers in place was a bit fiddly but so keep an eye on them. A dab of grease inside the spacer was going to be my solution but managed without needing to.

Little bit fiddly to fit but eventually got round it ,looks good on my 650 strom cos you don't really see them if you know what I mean, and ,absolutely solid bit of kit used lock tight on all the bolts nothing loosened over the last couple of weeks so brilliant for me ride my bike to work every day to the pub well every were

I fitted this onto my 2020 DL650 VstromXT. This model isn;t listed as compatible so I ordered the rack into the Reading Store and checked it out at the store. It's a perfect fit as there can't have been any significant changes to the frame between 2017-2019. The instructions on the Givi Web sit4e gave the impression that the exhaust silencer would interfere but the kit comes with n extension piece that sits in the exhaust output pipe to divert the heat from away from the case mounted on that side and this also serves as a support. There is also a brace in this kit that links the two pannier rails to add extra rigidity. All in all it's a great product. A little pricey as is all Givi stuff but it's well made and all the fittings you need are included. You just need to remove two bolts on either side and replace them with longer ones and a few washers and spacers to attach the rails at the top and there is a bracket that bolts on the the exhaust mount on one side and the pillion peg mount on the other. It holds my 21L panniers easily but it's perfect for all monokey mounting panniers.

Nice peace of metal but please people manual is ...... nice paper. Lots of times you need to use common sense.
Happy with product but its take some time to build it up.
