Givi PL5126 Pannier Holders - BMW G 310 GS

Instructions were a bit baffling at first, basic diagrams but once I got focused how they fit it was so simple they seem strong and not heavy which is ideal on a bike

This is the first Givi product I've ever marked down from 5 stars. Excellent quality, as usual, but the fitting is not up to Givi standards. Why?

1. the fitting instructions make no mention about just how complex it is to remove the existing indicators - an almost total strip down of the rear end plastics.

2. As has been mentioned the original indicators don't have wiring long enough to reach the new Givi bracket.

3. Givi instructions give absolutely no indication of how to do these two things which have to be done before the brackets can be fitted.

Bad show Givi!! I almost gave this a 3 star rating but the actually quality of what you get warranted the 4 star rating

But once on, the pannier brackets are well up to Givi standards.

But do be aware that you'll need some basic skills in wiring and dismantling and assembly (particularly as BMW don't offer service manual any more, so you're on your own on working out how to get at the indicators.

Made for the BMW G310GS an excellent fit,strong and stable.
I put short extensions on the indicator wires because they reposition a bit further back.
I would certainly recommend them.
