A solid feeling lock with a pretty small foot print, fits neatly on my Himmy's front disc.
I like the option of being able to lock it with the alarm either enabled or disabled ... the alarm itself sounds loud to me, should scare off the opportunist or amateur thief at least.
Having a rechargeable battery is another bonus. As mentioned by others you have to remove an allen bolt to access the alarm/battery unit but it's simple enough to remove and keeps it safe from prying fingers and the rain! I'm more than happy with the unit.

Alarm not as loud as expected, but still loud enough to draw attention. Well made and strong, up to usual Oxford standards. Great service from SBS as ever!

Although the alarm is not Gold standard it is another layer of security to add to the Sold Secure gold rated disc lock. Anything extra has to be worth it. The alarm is not super loud but it is still worth having. The Lock looks super strong.

This lock feels very heavy and well made. Fits well which you would expect and the alarm is a good addition. The fact that you have to dismantle it to charge is a slight pain but it keeps it all waterproof.

Feels substantial, great that it is rechargeable. I like that it is gold standard. Hopefully it will never be put to the ultimate test!!

The little reminder cable is a good touch (on a previous disc lock I had it was awkward).
You will probably need a magnifying glass to read the instructions.
I like that the alarm can be turned off (by making it make two beeps).

Good value disc lock with handy alarm function. Purchased this after researching for a while and I'm really happy with this product. Had alarmed disc lock in the past, but this works better. Easy to arm, no false alarms so far, loud enough deterrent and easily switched to silent if needed. It is solid, looks well made but small enough to carry and very yellow. It fits for a wide range of bikes, but not all. Don't fit for the front (factory) disc of my CRF 250L, but it works for the rear disc. It is fine for a Street Triple 765. The lock is everything you'd want it to be. Solidly built yet small and rounded shape making it easily portable in a pocket or small bag. Simple to set with an alarm loud enough to deter interference. Sportsbikeshop's price and fast delivery are once again the icing on the cake.

I've been using this for over a year now and have charged it only once. You do need the extra long Allen key (supplied) to get at the battery but it is easy enough to remove and charge.
It is easy to operate, 1 beep for armed, followed by confirmation beep, and 2 beeps for disarmed (when you store away) and as they follow in sequence, you arm and use, disarm and store. Simple.
It has not been affected by the weather and is wearing well. The alarm is quite piercing and therefore effective, and comes with handy reminder cable.
The only thing that would improve it would be a carry case.

My opinion is the more security the better.
This coupled with an alarmed chain will hopefully deter any thieves.

The device seems to be strongly made and should provide good deterrent for scumbags. My only concern is the setting and deactivation procedure in that I am not sure what the 'allowed' time to set and unset is - I dont think there is a pre-warning of alarm activation. That said, so far I havent set it off.
