Direct replacement for the last Michelin, can't fault it - best tyre I've ever had. Good combination of grip and wear resistance. The manufacturing date was very recent (4 months). Quick delivery and typically excellent service from Sportsbikeshop.

The Michelin Pilot Road 2 tyre is a dual compound sport touring tyre that uses Michelin's MotoGP derived 2CT technology. As with this tyres predecessor, the Michelin Road Pilot; thanks to a silica charged compound, this tyre offers an excellent compromise between performance and longevity and thanks to its new dual compound cornering grip has improved massively. This tyre is now truly capable of dealing with all weather conditions and should appeal to both tourers and sport tourers alike.
