BikerTek Better speed control
- Get into the right position to see and be seen as early as it's safe to do so
- Get the speed right
- Slow down if you need to by coming off the throttle and/or braking
- Use both brakes as it keeps the bike more stable
- Select the correct gear for your speed
- Look through the bend
- Keep an eye out for hazards such as nearside debris or emerging vehicles
- Then as you exit the corner, open up the right amount of acceleration to leave the bend safely
Improve cornering
It looks a bit like a shiny brake or clutch lever. Actually it can help with balance because it's fitted inside the hip.
This is a part for the biker, not the bike.
It is machine cut and grafts directly to the bone. Clever stuff. The catch is that long periods of physio can be required. Best to avoid needing this part fitted really. Best to avoid coming off on a corner. Read the road ahead. And ride at a speed that leaves you enough time to react around a corner.
