Kriega Max28 Expandable Backpack - Black

It's a lovely product but I had to return mine because the back padding had been embossed with the buckles. Poor packing from manufacture. Replacement still had a similar issue. It has not ridden out with wear. Shame really as it irritates me when considering the cost.

So far so good. Love the fact that it expands when needed. Laptop sleeve is a little pointless as its tiny. Looking forward to many years of use. Quality product.

THE ONLY gripe I have is about the laptop sleeve. It's too small. I use a 13in and it barely fits.
Everything else is amazing. Build quality, shape, fit etc. are all stellar.
Haven't maxed out capacity so cant speak to how much it holds, but so far no issue getting all of my commuting gear into it.
Expensive, but highly recommended.

I bought this mostly for the ability to pack my lid away when needed. It fits a full face or modular lid easily when the zips are expanded. I like the organiser section and the style of this pack and it fits nicely on rides. I got it at a discounted rate and I'm glad I did, it's expensive for what it is but if you commute to work as I do then you'll get years out of it.

High quality bag, plenty of room to fit a adventure helmet with a peak attached. Only improvement would be for a key clip included in one of the pockets.

This is perfect for my commute to work, I commute to work on my bike and needed a waterproof bag as I take my laptop with me, it's a sturdy bag and loads of compartments for stuff I need it's also expandable to a considerable amount and perfect for carrying work clothes to change into once I get to work.

Highly engineered bag which seems to do everything. Wanted a backpack easy to put on and which I couldn't feel when wearing. Fits a full face helmet when required and can take a 16" MacBook Pro in the waterproof roll top compartment. There are so many pockets in it I haven't found the, all yet. Might have been good to have an external pouch for easy access to keys, wallet etc but this can be added to the shoulder strap in you buy the separate pouch available, might do that. Lot of money but I don't expect to buy another bag ever it's so well made.

This backpack is pretty awesome. I'm replacing a Kriega R25 which has lasted for ages and probably will stay fine.
This new pack can hold a full helmet, which is the predominant reason I bought it.

It's pretty awesome for organisation, and really has every pocket you could need. I like the waterproof laptop sleeve but really would have liked that to have been a slightly bigger size.

I can't fault it so far other than the size of the laptop sleeve.

Waterproof, solid, robust, and even manages to pack up to be very compressed when it's quite empty.

The harness is really comfortable as well.

It's worth saying, the bag takes a hydra pack, and was really difficult to figure out how to route the tube. I emailed Steven at Kriega, and the customer service from him was amazing! He managed to figure out how it worked and sent me a detailed photo guide of how to make it work.

Even better than I thought it would be, looks better in real life than the pictures. Dry bag is a good size easily holds a decent sized laptop. Very comfortable.

Top Quality as usual from Kriega - needed a replacement laptop bag for commuting/general usage and already own a number of Kriega products so splashed the cash - top bit of kit - great design, very well built and extremely forgettable when it's on your back.

Have owned and used this backpack for a few weeks. It replaces the Kriega R20 which I had for about 2 years - got this as I needed extra capacity and I now have to carry a 15.6 inch laptop. This backpack meets all my requirements - I can get a change of clothes, pair of gloves, rain jacket, laptop with power supply and my lunch for a 70 mile round trip daily. First few times it was a little tricky to get laptop into its compartment but it is fine now. The only improvement I would make would be to the laptop compartment - it could do with couple of more inches in the opening and it could also drop same amount into the back - hence the 4 stars. Service from SBS as always - GREAT!

Have had an eye on Kriega for a while, needing a backpack for my relatively light commute. This provides a perfect middle ground compared to the old kriega bags where if you wanted a roll top, you HAD to buy the R30.

This thing is built like a tank, feels substantial & hardwearing and as ever, the QUADLOCK harness genuinely makes the bag disappear once on the bike. The adjustment points are also brilliant, you really just have to size it up once and that's it.
