Oxford Solo Brake Bleeding Kit

Initially I wanted any pipe and a syringe to bleed the brakes. But then came across these and they do the job as well. In a cleaner way.

Made bleeding the brakes quick & easy. Only problem was the tube for the brake nipple end was quite stiff & I was going to warm it up to get it over the nipple (air temp was low 20s so it was not a cold day) but I had another piece of tube I could use instead.

First time ever bleeding the rear brake of my bike as a newer rider and had no issues whatsoever.
Really simple and easy to use.

Easy to use, one way valve is good. You don't have to press the brake lever then release and tighten and pump and release and tighten, etc. Even with my rubbish ability this was easy.

The one way valve didn't work so ended up bleeding the brakes the old fashioned way… I did use the clear tubing for this.

Does exactly what it say, would be better if it came with some sort of catch can/bottle but used my own which was fine

Self explanatory instructions. Simple set up. One way valve brilliant. Had no problems bleeding my front brake caliper. Also topped with fresh fluid. First time ive completed this task. Definitely an essential part of motorcycle kit. Thanks. Happy.

Overall the valve work really well and makes fluid changes a doddle. The average quality of the pipe makes it tricky to securely fit it to the bleed screw. For the price it would be great if it came with a small plastic container to drain the old fluid. Superb service from SBS as always!

It's basically a one way valve with some plastic tubing. Worked great and was loads easier than opening and closing the bleed nipple after each pump of the brake lever. The supplied clips do help in keeping the tube on the bleed nipple. Bought on its own it does work out expensive with delivery. So wait until you have an order above £25 and get free delivery.

The quality isn't there , it's Oxford - They do not make decent products when you start entering the rabbit hole of motorcycle gear , above R&G but compared to other gear available ive never rated anything they do

this was a quick fix for a desperate situation & i opted for SportsBikeShop due to their excellent & reliable service

The one way valve is the key , the quality of the tygon hose is poor , very flimsy , i had to replace the bleeder nipple end with the thicker woven type (have plenty at work) to establish a secure connection as the brake fluid would dribble out from the oem hose.

useful but if you can get a one way valve for cheaper & have decent hosing about ; take advantage of that

Very handy piece of kit. Easy to use

Simple 1 person operation for brake bleeding. The 1 way valve works well and has a direction of flow arrow. (I tried blowing into the tube before connecting to the bike to make sure the valve was working but I couldn't pass air through either direction, I thought it was a faulty item. But connected it to the bike and discovered I just couldn't create the preasure needed to activate the valve with my lungs) the valve worked 100% and saved me tons of time. You can easily fully bleed and flush the brake fluid for front and rear in under 10 minutes if you really needed to.

Is very simple to use and is cheap

Great little setup for bleeding the brakes of my sv650... Keeps the process clean and reduces waste when doing a brake fluid change. Clips were a bit too big for the bleed nipples but the pipe was sealed regardless. Would Reccommend for anybody tackling brake fluid.
