Oxford Magni Mate Stand Support

Initially got this puck stand for my modern bikes, 1 of them. Doesn't work for them, WAY too wobbly! Flat surface in garage tested.
Will use with my classic bike who leans over way too much on side stand.
Fortunately I brought the XL Oxford puck stands as well and they work perfectly.

Good at the SBS price, this is a well shaped, solid stand/puck. The magnets built into it certainly grip my side stand (DesertX). I agree with other reviews that the magnets could be a tad stronger. But it stays in place one you're positioning the side stand onto it which helps position it securely. And the puck shape works well, previous ones I've had have been round (a less good shape in my opinion).

I order this item, on removing it from the packing and try it on the side stand it did not work would not even attach to the side stand.

I know it might seem frivolous to buy the Oxford Magni Mate; you could use a squashed drinks can or similar, however if you have a drive made of chip stones or similar this little puck is fantastic. Especially if you have a heavy bike to manoeuvre. The magnet makes it easier to locate.
My only criticism Oxford should have made it a day-glow colour for use at night , easy fix with some reflective tape.

Great idea and good product, only downside is the magnet could be stronger as it's not that powerful.

Really useful piece of kit. I managed to buy one about 10 years ago but then Oxford stopped making them when the price of magnets went up. At under £9 this is a biking bargain. The magnets make the stand attach 'automatically' to the bottom of my bike stand. No more lifting the bike up and haviyti gently'nudge' the stand into the best place. Thanks to the magnets there's no need to do that hardly ever. Thoroughly recommended

Simple idea - added peace of mind when parked on soft ground.
