Givi E164 Passenger Backrest

Its a rubber back pad designed to fit the Trekker Dolomiti box. And it does! Attaches using pre installed adhesive strips. Seems secure once on. Only criticism is it's slightly pricy for what it is.

Got these as partner now comfortable riding pillion.

When these arrived was a little amazed at how small they are, more so that they are fixed with adhesive tape/pads.
Therefore spent bit of time cleaning surface and a final clean with alcohol wipes to ensure good adhesion. Very easy to fit. Not used in wet conditions yet.

These are not secure so anyone can pull these off would have been better if they where bolted on The price suggests they should be !!!!

Quite sure most handy people could make something just as good for a fraction of the price. Again part for a bike therefore must be expensive

However partner says comfortable so objective achieved so can grumble too much. Just the cost and fixing method need to be reviewed to make secure.

I'm struggling to recommend as certain something just as good could be made. If they get nicked, I wont be buying again just not worth the price and not secure which for fitting to bike it should be these days. So if they are nicked of come off in the wet will make replacement. Len

Well made but rather expensive for what they are..
The fitting is done with adhesive patches and I'd rather the pads were attached with bolts.
However this back rest is an essential bit of kit as without this back rest the hinges on the box stick out quite a long way and would be very uncomfortable for a pillion.
