Givi WL900 Weightless Panniers (pair) - 50 Litre Total Capacity

These look the business, well made, feel nice, not yet used on the bike but so glad I jumped in with both feet and invested for future smiles.

As my title suggests, these panniers are Givi, so you get what you pay for & again they don't disappoint. The panniers are well made, sturdy and very robust, they come with water proof bags to go over them, they have 3 digit code lock to prevent any would be thieves from gaining access to your belongings, they fit securely to the brackets (sold elsewhere) by a locking mechanism using a key. They are a lot bigger than they look from the outside, big enough for me to store my waterproofs and helmet in one pannier and everything else in another, when I leave my bike unattended. The only criticism I have is they are a lot bulkier than other panniers on the market.

Easily attached and removed to and from the racks. These are very lightweight and surprisingly roomy. The elastic straps are very handy to hold kit into the panniers when open. They look really smart on my Tiger 850 sport!

I have used them twice so far, once in monsoon like rain - there was some damp inside after but I'm not sure if that occurred when I opened the flaps to put my shopping in or if the rain came through the zips (these are not waterproof). Either way, if you are touring the waterproof roll top bags that come with them will be necessary. All in all I am very happy with my purchase - SBS were quick to dispatch and the packaging was more than adequate.
