Gaerne G-Rocket Gore-Tex Boots - Black

I wouldn't ordinarily go for something like this type of boot and I'd never heard of the brand but I really liked the look of them and I wanted something casual for riding about the city, different and gore tex.
They do look good on in my opinion and the fit is true to size, not too wide or narrow. The lacing strap is really good and stays in place all day with no issue. So no flapping, loose laces.
Comfort wise, maybe it's because they're still fairly new but they are stiff off the bike and the breathability is lacking despite the claims from gore tex, my feet feel hot when I've worn them on long days but I don't doubt they'd be fully waterproof.
All in all I would buy them again and recommend them.

I bought these having tried several pairs because of gore-tex for waterproofing and them being super comfortable. I'm heading to Ireland for a few days and wanted to reduce the amount of luggage by having boots that can also be worn as regular footwear. No experience of them in rain yet but they sure are comfy.

I found the boots a good fit and true to size. The ankle strap is a bit short at the hook and eye nylon strip. It also catches on the bottom of my jeans. Appear well made otherwise.would be better if the nylon was covered completely with the outer strap.

Very impressed with these boots. Very comfortable, work great on and off the bike. Exactly what I was looking for.
