SENA 10C Evo - Combination Bluetooth Intercom and Camera System

I got this to use with an open face helmet on up coming Route66 trip. A good assortment of mounts that were (for me) easy enough to fit. I've done a couple of test rides with it and I'm impressed with the results so far. Seems well made and sturdy and the controls are much more glove friendly than some I've used. Looking forward to using it on the trip now.

Everything works as you would expect, but personally I would expect better for the amount it costs.
Daytime, good conditions, the picture quality is great. At night, my old camera at a third of the price was just as good.
The battery only last about 90 minutes with the camera recording. Connecting the camera to my phone to review footage is hit and miss whether it will connect. The app crashes anytime I try and fast forward a video.
It seems well made, however the charging port is on the top and the rubber lug doesn't always sit in the port correctly. As a daily rider in all weather, I am dubious of how long this will stay water proof.

Well made, good camera quality.
For someone that is not using camera for YouTube films is perfectly enough.

Takes time though to learn / remember which buttons are for which things

I already have a pair of 10s so was a natural choice and was not disappointed and very pleased with the 4K camera. The speakers seem to be an upgrade also. Don't know if it is my settings but when I replay the camera on my phone the audio comes out in the helmet not on the phone, this is a bit of a pain

The video quality is excellent for me with no stabilisation required. Communication is also very good and clear. Its own radio was ok but signal strength is not so good where i am but I was able to use my own bikes radio bluetooth for better reception. I know there are upgrade speakers available, but i have no idea how better they may be. Has any one upgraded their own speakers??
This system has had a lot of criticism on its complexity and difficulty to set it up, but after you get your head around it you realise it is actually very simple. So if it wasn't working properly, then I concluded in the end "its actually my fault because I am asking the evo to do something it can't do or I am asking the bluetooth to operate the wifi!"
So on the whole i am very pleased. It took a few weeks to understand it but i just looked at it when I had the time.

Fantastic piece of kit, easy to install, and great video and audio results whilst out on my bike. Service and price from SBS is fantastic also. The unit itself is easy to operate even when riding and gives fantastic records of your journeys

I was sceptical initially due to the price but it's worth every penny. A little confusing with the many functions available but I know how to do what I want from it and couldn't ask for any more.

I have 2 drift cameras which have been great but the Sena evo 10c is at another level. A bit tricky setting it up and still doing this for the music but everything so far is top notch. I will be getting the handlebar control next. As normal everything I have brought from Sportsbike shop has been the best available prices and with the quickest delivery slots. Thanks guy's

I'm very happy with the audio quality, battery life not great with video. Sena app is a little clunky.
So i went for the 10c evo from sena as the brand has a good reputation among my friends who almost exclusively use sena gear, and having a comms feature that was compatible and worked well was my main interest. Fitting was straightforward enough, with lots of options for mounting the device and a choice of boom mic (which i used for my flip front shark evo one 2) and helmet mounted mic I've not used the comms for group riding yet, however i have used it to make and receive calls. The sound quality and volume are excellent. Same goes for the fm radio. Battery life using audio appears to be very good so far although my longest ride has only been around 4 hours. Now for the down side - battery life with the camera on is not great at all, around 60-75 mins before the low battery warning sounds at which point the camera turns off automatically. The audio continues to work though so i was able to hear satnav directions for the 90min journey home. The sena utility app 'Quick guide' is downloaded each time you use it and if you change a setting on the evo, the connection with the app is lost and you have to download the manual again then find the page you were on... after a few times this becomes tedious. Of course, once you have memorised all the different key press combinations this issue goes away, but still... Video quality seems to be great with many different quality settings to choose from. There's no video stabilisation, but i was aware of this before buying so not an issue for me.

Overall I'm very happy. Maybe the battery life will improve after a few charge/discharge cycles? Or maybe a future software update may improve this?

Not managed to get out on the bike with it yet, but having installed it in the house and tried calling everyone I know and checking out the audio quality I'm very impressed. Can't wait to try it out on the bike.

The Sena 10C Evo got off to a great start with how quick the set up was. The intercom was secured in place and so far, after a month of use, has only become slightly loose twice.

The camera quality is much better than expected, bearing in mind it's not an action camera like a go pro, it's still really good. I also love how my music seamlessly blends in with my videos.

However, my biggest issue is how useless the Sena app is. You can only access and download your pictures and videos through this app and if you want to download them onto your phone. Sadly though the app is appallingly bad. It takes an age to download then doesn't even download the material. I've had to try multiple attempts with individual videos and it often doesn't work. So far I've managed to download three videos but the time it took to do so was completely unreasonable. The app often freezes so it just seems pretty pointless. I think if I'd known how bad the app was I probably wouldn't have bothered with the product. Such a shame as the app is the only real let down. What's the use of having an intercom that can film and take pictures if you can't even download them after?!

Usual sena quality kit, well built with lots of features and do what it says on the tin, after many years with sena intercoms I decided to upgrade and well pleased with it

The service from sports bike shop is faultless yet again.
The product however only gets a 4 though. Camera is a great bit of kit with Crystal clear 4K. The night footage needs a bit of improvement.
Connectivity to the phone app is good. The app could do with improvement, allowing presets etc to be altered.
Simplistic, but too many combinations of buttons to remember.
Radio works well, but will have a mind of its own with the volume self fluctuating.
Comms is faultless and very clear. The war spacers reduce any gaps between the ears and helmet.
Battery doesn't last As long as it claims.
Overall a great bit of kit. I would recommend

Nice product, easy to install and good qulaity, my only conncern is the location of the usb charging point, if you want to power it on the bike you can but because of its location it would let water in, but given the battery life shouldnt be too much of a problem.
