Small and neat, does what it says on the tin. Arrived promptly. Note that it won't charge a battery if the voltage has fallen below 4V. For that you need to use a conventional charger. So best to keep this beastie plugged in regularly over longer periods of inactivity.

This neat little charger is perfect for my occasional use motorcycle.
The fused wiring harness sits neatly on the bike and isn't noticeable when disconnected. The lead from the charger is nice and long, so I'm able to attach the charger to the wall and still reach the bike comfortably.
I just connect it up, switch it on and it maintains the battery for me.

Jealousy towards those with Optimate optimisers has led me to keep an eagle eye on this since SBS started stocking them - also the lack of surety over if I'll ever yoink a Lithium battery in future means I wanted something which would cater to both those or my usual dry cells - future-proofing, if you will.
This has worked outstandingly so far and kept my battery topped off well even in the poorer weather we've experienced, all rearing to go as soon as it perks up.
Defo, I say, this will be kept ready to go each year back on the bike.

I've always used optimate trickle chargers and they have never let me down. Easy to read displays and this one mirrors my other one. The bonus with this one is that it can be used on the different battery types. Comes with a molded piece of plastic at the top that has allowed me to fix it easily to the wall. Excellent service and price again by SBS

Hi I have a 2020 At with a lithium battery and have been looking at your other charger specific for lithium batteries then I saw this one that is cheaper but says it can charge others and lithium batteries. Will this charger work for Africa twin battery?
February 14, 2023We can confirm that this optimiser will be suitable for all Lithium 12.8/13.2V batteries. There's no need to change the program, as it automatically detects lead-acid, AGM or Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries.
i got a cb1000r 09 plate with a plug-in adapter on it will this plug into a 2 pin on bike
