Gerbing 2Ah Glove Battery Kit

bought the short cuff gloves but thought i could still secrete the batteries somewhere, the excellent staff did warn me, heard from a couple of mates they did keep the gloves as hot so took them back for a full refund, ive put an average rating only because they wouldn't let me submit the review without putting something in

I was concerned about the batteries being bulky and uncomfortable but needn't have worried. They slip into the zipped pouch on the front of the glove and there is plenty of room to move them to a comfortable position. The only thing you notice is the gloves are, unsurprisingly, heavier than standard gloves. Fit is good although the thumb length was a little long as my right thumb did not get as warm as the rest of the hand. I used them at the low setting for temps of 2-5C and they were still going strong after 3.5 hrs. Much more flexible than my old wired gloves but the option to use either battery or wired is good for longer days out.

These batteries are really convenient, I bought the gloves along with the heated jacket that Gerbing offer. The faff of plugging the gloves into the jacket, and jacket into the bike just isn't worth it for my 10 minute commute. Although the batteries are bulkier on the back of the glove than the jacket cables, they're a real bonus and still super warm on the coldest of days!
