Bell Star DLX Mips - Solid Matt Black

I'm normally a scorpion man but decided on a change , after looking at reviews I decided to opt for the bell star , very happy I did , the quality is superb and paint finnish A1 and the fit is excellent, would highly recommend this helmet and as always would highly recommend sportsbikeshop , always great service and customer support

Hi, got this helmet as I seen it on offer @ half price, £229.00 for the features this lid has it's a bargain & delivered the following day. This helmet came with a tinted visor & pinlock, the paint job is awesome ( Isle of man tt) I've had quite a few people ask about it, to sum up more than happy with helmet & service . As far as I'm concerned sportsbikeshop is the best gear shop out there .

The helmet is a really nice finish by Bell and the fit is very comfy once it's bed in. I also like that it's got D ring with a magnetic clip. Never had that before but I certainly like it!
The overall quality of the helmet is very nice and not a single bit feels iffy at all.
Bell know what they're doing and who they're against!

First time with Bell - very good fit with big visor giving great visibility. Down point is the pin lock is a pain to fit.

I only wish it was coming with the transition visor but you can't have it all.... most likely I will purchase one at some point

Wanted a decent helmet and always liked Bell products. Found this one online from Sports Bike Shop. Found correct size from the measurement information , placed order and was delivered next day. Very securely packaged and came with free race visor and pin lock insert.

My head measured 58cm and I picked a medium. Fits well. Comfortable but not too tight but snug enough for a good fit. Feels perfect. I like this helmet. Only downsides are I found the helmet noisier than my old Bell RS-2 but I now ride with ear plugs and it's very pleasant and I can still hear my bike when I get the revs up without the hissing of wind. Should have been riding with ear plugs along time ago. But to be honest I've never found a totally quiet helmet. The helmet was fogging until I put on the pin lock that's included in the box and it's perfect now. One other thing is I ride a zx10r and when leaning off sometimes my vision through the turns isn't perfect it was never a problem on my old helmet but when you are riding normally the helmet has a wide view with the panovisor and I really like it. The helmet is reasonably light. Lastly its a shame the auto tint visor doesn't come included in the UK like it does in other markets. If you want that it's another £150. This being the "DLX" version I thought it would have been included but you get a race tinted visor instead.

Chosen largely for the Mips technology. It's a great looking helmet and feels really nicely built. The visor removal system works very well.

Great helmet! In the city, on open road, it's light and very comfortable (after 2-3 hours of wearing).

I love the look of this helmet with the dark visor, it fits really well. My head measured as a small but needed the Medium as the small was too tight. This came with the free race visor and Pinlock in the box which is brilliant value. Changing the visor is super easy and quick.I chose this hemlet as it has a 5 star rating with SHARP which means it exceeded all the tests for safety. Great Helmet at a great price and looks to match!

Always had Arai helmets previously, but couldn't justify the cost of a new rx7gp.
Also found Arai vents kept breaking.
So as bell star was a good fit, has mips, build is solid, got tinted visor and pinlock for £405 it was a bargain.
An unexpected bonus is it's quiet, so I'm really pleased as it's a quality product with nice little touches like the magnetic chin strap catch.
