Our customers say…
Customers generally find this paddock stand to be affordable and easy to assemble. Many appreciate its ability to lift lighter bikes securely for maintenance tasks. While it’s noted for its good value, some customers mentioned that it can feel flimsy and may not be ideal for heavier bikes. Several customers suggested removing the springs for easier use. Despite a few issues with stability and packaging, the stand overall received positive feedback for meeting basic needs.

First paddock stand
03 March 2022 by Peter N
I needed a paddock stand because my 125 doesn't have a centre stand, this one is easy to assemble but a little awkward to use as the holding clips are spring loaded, that said it's very stable and does the job.

Would need an upgrade

If you only have a fairly light bike like me (z300) it'll lift it and hold it fairly steady, would prefer a sturdier one for a bigger bike, but for lubing the chain, general maintenance etc. it is fine for the price.

Works great

This is the only paddock stand I've owned so can't compare to anything else, but this works perfectly. When the arse of my precious bike is in the air I have confidence she isn't going to fall. Easy to put together and easy to use. I use it with my 2015 Daytona 675

Sturdy and easy to out together
15 September 2018 by Liam C
I bough this for my CB400SF and it's brilliant especially for the price, It's probably not going to take the weigh to a GS or Pan Euro but I think that would be expecting a but too much; My bike weighs 190kg and I've not had any of the "bending" issues people report. In conclusion, if you can get this thing for under £50 it's totally worth every penny.

Does what it says on the tin

Great stand and good quality for the price. Only niggle is the mounts on the stand with the spring are fiddly.

Poor quality

Poor quality product, not very stable under the bike and has a tendency to collapse.
Cheap for a reason and wish I'd spent a bit more instead.

Cheap and cheerful

Does what it says however isn't the easiest and I would only trust my 125 on it nothing any bigger. Can be flimsy at times but what do you expect for the price.

Cheap but does the job
27 January 2018 by Pete S
Very easy to put together. Found it perfectly sturdy for my Street Triple (with a wooden wedge under the front wheel for peace of mind). Great for cleaning and oiling the chain (real pain without a centre stand!!). One of the plastic 'feet' was broken when it arrived which being resolved by the manufacturer but doesn't really affect the performance. Would recommend for the price.

Didn't last long
17 October 2017 by Ben B
I've probably used this stand approximately 5 times since purchase. Lifting my SV650 is no issue, but from the first lift it seemed unstable. Now, the right side of the paddock stand is bent so when I put the bike down is doesn't fall in a straight line and is quite unpredictable. I probably wont use it again, which is disappointing after just buying it a couple of weeks ago.

Handy but not long term
28 September 2017 by Dave H
Agree with other comments.

It is cheap, but you can see why if I'm honest, gets the job done but is flimsy and at times, a little bottom clenching for my taste.

Easy to assemble, does the job but wouldn't really recommend, get something better unless you really are skint.

Good for the price

Good piece of kit that does the job well. Lifts my Z900 without any problems. The supplied grips support the bike well but I may change them out for bobbins at a later date which I think may give more peace of mind when the bikes on the stand.

Cheap paddock stand

This paddock stand is easy to put together and easy to use but can feel a little flimsy when supporting your bike and the rubber grips sometimes slip during use.

Questions and Answers

  • Does this stand come with "hooks" so it can lift a bike fitted with bobbins?  Thanks

    October 22, 2018

This stand is not supplied with bobbin hooks. The Oxford Premium rear stand is supplied with both cups and hooks, and so may be a better choice for you.

  • Would this be suitable for a 2007 SV650S fully faired model? Thank you.

    August 22, 2018

This stand will be fine to use with your SV.

  • Will this stand fit my Honda CB125R? Thanks

    August 10, 2018

This stand will be fine for your CB125R.

  • Please can you recommend a paddock stand for my Honda CB650F 2018, Thank you.

    August 9, 2018

The Moto GP rear stand will be fine to use with your Honda.

  • Hi What paddock stand would you recommend for a 2018 Kawasaki Z900? Thank you

    August 6, 2018

We would recommend a paddock stand with hook fittings, such as the BikeTek Aluminium Rear Paddock Stand. You will of course require bobbins to use this item.

  • Is this stand any good for my Cbr650f please?

    May 17, 2018

This stand will have no problem lifting your bike. But with the shape of the swing-arm on your CBR650f, I would recommend using a rear stand with bobbins if possible to reduce the risk of the bike slipping up the swing-arm.

  • Will this stand fit a 2010 r6

    March 25, 2018

We would recommend using a paddock and bobbins for your bike. A stand such as the Oxford Premium rear, which comes with both hooks and universal pads.

  • Is this suitable for an ER6N?

    October 27, 2017

We would not recommend using this due to your bike requiring paddock stand bobbins.
