Alpinestars Vega V2 Drystar Mixed Gloves - Black

I purchased thes as an upgrade on my current winter gloves after reviews put them in the top 10 warmest gloves. Unfortunately they are not warm around the fingers, worse than my current gloves in fact, I read that the insulation used was warmer than the thinsulate i had, but at temperatures below 6 degrees it was umbearable- I have heated grips, but I had to stop to warm up, which i have never needed to do before on my daily 35 mile commute. back of hands were fine, but the insulation in the fingers means these glovers are now back in the cupboard until it warms up a bit. waterproofing is good, they are lightweight and controls are easy to use, although finger movement is stiff and feels rubbery.and the 2 finger joint, although it may help in a crash, causes irritation after a while. Why there is no visorwipe on gloves of this price is beyond me. size wise i went like for like- but were a bit snug initially, but are softening a little now.

Waterproof and have a good fit, not as warm as I would have expected for a pair of winter gloves but when combined with heated grips it's no problem. Not as thick as most winter gloves but that gives a better feel. Got a little bit of style to them as well.

Feel fantastic, snug and protective. The large fits much better on my hands than a leather set I tried before, the leather was very tight compared.

Still able to press buttons, do up helmet and work a phone with ease.

Best pair of gloves I brought not thick n heavy but not to thin, air doesn't get in when at high speed and feel very well made

I ordered 2 sizes as I believed that I wa in between a Medium and a Large.

Both gloves were delivered the next day in secure packaging.
I chose the Large size and still found them a good snug fit.
My fingers fit in the glove well.
The materials seem to be be of a good quality.
I have worn them on the cold and damp mornings and found them to be fine for my daily commute and as the temperature picked up through the day the gloves were still comfortable for the ride home.

I returned the Medium sized gloves and the refund was activated in good time.
Surprised as we are going the Vovid-19 epidemic.
