Alpinestars Nucleon KR-1 Celli Back Protector Insert - Black / Red

Fits great in my L size Aplinestars jacket. Very easy installation and high quality materials. I've ridden with it for 20+ hours total and can barely feel it.

Upgraded safety equipment for Alpinestar jackets, fits well and is comfortable.

After a KR-2i proved itself and saved me from serious injury after a 'detailed road inspection' a few years ago, I decided to go for another astars protector when making a return to riding.

Lightweight and unobtrusive, well vented and flexible, this thing just disappears in the jacket. Small premium over the KR-2i but worth it for that little bit 'extra'.

If it helps anyone, Jacket its used in is an Astars Bogota Pro (med) and a medium protector fits perfect

It fits perfectly and is extremely well built and comfortable, luckily I haven't been able to test it in a crash yet hahah

Feels bulky but is really light, when wearing is really great! Hardly know it's there and does flow air.

Zip to pocket of GP force is right at the bottom of the jacket and it slides into the pocket with no man handling. If you want you can also put the tag out and use the popper system and have it outside of the pocket.

much lighter than older style protectors, more flexible, comfortable against back.

Bought this for my Alpinestars Andesv2 Drystar Jacket. Fits perfectly, comfortable to wear and easy to remove and refit. Sportsbikeshop customer service great as always.

This is such a quality product, really well made and although I hope I never need it, it fit in my jacket perfectly and you wouldn't know it was there.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This fits a treat in my Alpinestars Andes V3 Drystar Textile Jacket. It appears to be very well finished and looks that good, it's a shame it gets coveredup all the while. i have had numerous back protectors over this years and this seems up there with the best. Definitely would recommend but it is a bit bulky so would not be suitable if your jacket fits rather tightly.

Very happy with the back protector fits perfectly into my jacket and very happy with sportsbikeshop always have everything you need 5* all round.

It's lightweight and fits snugly into my jacket. Hopefully, I'll never test its performance.

I bought this as my Alpinestars jacket had the pocket ready. It fits perfectly in the jacket and is very comfortable. I did however get the feeling that there were parts of my back that were not protected. I have been riding for along time without a protector and recently getting my leg across the bike a lot more I felt the need to have protection. I ordered the KR-3 so I could make a comparison. Sportsbikeshop had them on offer and with their no quibble return I had nothing to lose. When it arrived I felt so much more protected not only with the rib protectors but the length covered a lot more of my back. See my review on that later. If you are happy with the smaller insert typ that this is then you will have no problems regarding the construction side of things. Its well made and comfortable under your jacket and will do the job. Good value for money.
