Will this fit my AGV 46 Project helmet

This is compatible with the AGV Sportmodular, AX9, K-5 S and K6 helmets.

Had to get this agv ark to keep the aerodynamics of my new agv k6 as much as possible and wasn't convinced it was a must, coming from cheap compared intercom systems which work perfectly fine for radio and rider to rider chat. After some time I've came to the conclusion the AGV ARK by sena is a decent bit of kit it has smart functions and has very clear sound with rider to rider chat radio and music this system does a great job of cancelling out wind noise and auto adjusts the volume to its surroundings it's also easy to use once you get used to its functions and can be set up through the sena app free to download. Phone calls can be bad quality and my system always seems to have the volume too low to always make out what callers are saying so I need to always turn up the volume when in calls. All in all this system is better than the 2 systems I've had in the past but both were less than half the price and you will need to purchase the adapter to fit it to the model of helmet you have separately also the battery doesn't last long compared to my cheaper systems but is quick enough to charge from a power bank when I'm stopped for a break. So end conclusion to this review is AGV ARK by sena is a good quality intercom one worth having especially if the helmet it's fitted to is light and quiet as this helps keep the wind noise and weight down, aerodynamics could be better as I've felt the wind catch it bad at high motorway speeds on a really windy day riding in scotland, a bit pricey for it all fitted and the short battery life but in my experience it does feel better than my previous systems that cost less than half the price. Good system good sound for the most. Good product.

Good effort but could do better.

The good points. It looks good. It fits well. It is easy to fit. It helps reduce wind noise.
The bad points. I know its a Mesh unit but the blurb does boast it can connect to one Bluetooth intercom. What it doesn't say, until you read the manual is that, in doing so, it knocks out all other bluetooth units inc sat nav. If I had know this before I bought it I probably would have thought twice. Other bad points are that it is difficult to use with gloves on! Maybe that because I have manly sized hands but whether I wear summer or winter gloves it makes little difference. Finally, the volume max is very low. My previous units have had sufficient volume to get past my ear plugs in a comfortable way but the ARC does struggle. Overall - could do better.

Fits very neatly on an AGV helmet

Good piece of kit. I installed two on our AGV K6 helmets. Fits nicely into the grooves and looks very slick.

One downside is that you need to also buy the adapter separately, and it might be out of stock for your specific helmet.
Also one of my speakers was faulty, but SportsBikeShop support was super awesome and sent me a replacement speaker next-day. Works flawlessly now.

One installation tip: Use little pieces of gorilla tape to hold the cables on the rim during installation. Keeps everything in place and makes for an easy installation of the cheek pads.

Really good intercom

Putting aside the obvious, ARK being the best looking intercom on the market, this is really good intercom. easy installation (although cables could be slightly shorter imho), easy set up and flawless operation. connects quickly without a hassle, really easy to operate in the gloves, almost loud enough for highway riding.

Very good intercom

Ordered this at Christmas time but was out of stock and I only received it recently. However Sportsbikeshop kept me well informed until it became available and gave me the option to cancel if I couldn't wait..Bought this to go into my AGV K5 helmet. Was a bit fiddly to fit and the cutouts in the helmet for the speakers were slightly too small and had to be enlarged with a small craft knife to get them to fit neatly into the helmet. Otherwise seems to work very well and was able to pair it with my friends Shoei Neotec II (flip-up) and which has built in Sena SRL comms. Haven't tried it at speed yet so don't know how it will perform with wind noise.

This unit goes perfectly with my K6 and the design language give the helmet even more sharp and stylish look, Works flawless in terms of communication with mobile and other riders, clear voice & easy to use buttons makes my live easier. Battery charge is also excellent

Excellent Intercom system!

Bought this to use on my new AGV AX9 helmet, it's my first Bluetooth unit. It was really simple to install, will need the fitting kit as is specific to the helmet it's going on to.
It took around 15 mins to fit to my helmet, charged up quickly and is very simple to use. The sound is excellent and noise cancelling is brilliant!!!
The music is really simple to play on it from my phone & the battery lasts pretty well too. I'm getting a good week between the charging, despite commuting listening to music each day for an hour or just over. Would highly recommend as looks really sleek too.

Quality Product

Having tried cheaper helmet intercoms I decided to try Sena as a known market leader and I choose the AGV Ark system as it's Sena's helmet specific intercom for AGV. I have a AGV K5-S and the intercom fits very neatly on the side of the helmet, it looks part of the original helmet. The controls are very easy to operate once you're used to the many options and Siri works like a treat. Sound quality is excellent both for listening and speaking. My only negative comments are - 1. the adapter is an extra cost and is 100% required for fitting, this should be included as the intercom is useless without it and 2. I question the use without earplugs is safe as claimed, I have tried with and without and with, it's too hard to hear and without, I had a ringing in my ears afterwards?? In summary, great product and usual excellent service from SBS

Bluetooth Streamlined

This is the only BT that actually fits on the Sport Modular..others have chunky leads that make inserting mic difficult.
Controls are not easy to use and there is no Hey Sena utility. I tried to sync with my sena remote on the handlebars and it seems to want its own version (despite them being pretty much the same) When it does do stuff audio is clear and solid. On time between battery charges is excellent.

I tried a few cheap bluetooth headsets, and had to send them back because they were rubbish, Bit the bullet and got this, Absolutley brilliant,Pairs with the phone and tomtom immediately. just what you need when all togged up in your bike gear, Very clear reception.
Volume is on about 40% and can hear tomtom easily at 70mph. Found it cheaper on another website, But SBS price matched it and the usual next day delivery, Well worth the money. It just works how it should. 10/10

AGV ark Bluetooth system is superior on other products that I have before.
Very user friendly.
Ratings from me 11/10
I have very loud motorcycle (ducati diavel with full racing termignoni exhaust without dB killers and I hear navigation wery clearly, for communication when I ride on my phone it is also very good 9,5/10)
Only one little thing that bothers me is microphone, when my front air went is open on high speeds the air stuck mic on my face (riding sportmodular agv flip up and have mic for modular helmets)
