BikeTek Side Paddock Stand - KTM / Triumph

I was advised that this axle stand would fit my Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 - it won't, as the smallest pin size Bike Tec produce is 21.5 mm and my bike needs an 18 mm pin, so the thing has to go back. Thankfully the excellent SBS returns policy came to the rescue. As to the stand; the design is very good but the quality of the welds are poor. On top of this, I cannot understand why Bike Tec can't produce a pin that will fit the Tiger Explorer, perhaps the bike is too heavy? Equally, I cannot understand why the PRC cannot build something close to an acceptable level of quality. Sadly, I'm very unhappy with this experience.

BikeTek stand arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble and is a perfect fit for the 1290 GT.
Easy to use with a smooth action and has double wheels to spread the load.
Very stable and a bit of quality kit.

Bought this for my KTM and it is very easy to use to lift the rear of the bike.
Strong paddock stand built for the job. Looks good too.
Would recommend buying this one.

This is a really well designed and balanced single sided paddock stand.I bought it for my 2016 Triumph Speed Triple.The design and engineering aspects are excellent value for money the pin is a perfect precise fit into the rear wheel hub so their is no issue of a loose fit it is an excellent machine fit.The stand easily copes with the weight of the bike making maintenance a safe and enjoyable process.The length of the stand is also well judged / balanced meaning it is easy to raise the bike without needing to be as strong as Arnie !!! It's 5 stars from me.
