FLM Travel Membrane Modular Rain Pants 1.0 - Black

These are well made and seem to do the main job well, they stood up to a 200 mile ride in torrential rain with no leaks at all. However I bought them as the long zips at the bottom mean that they should be easy to put on over boots. The two problems with this are that the tabs on the zippers are quite small, as are the zips which makes them fiddly to use with gloves on on cold wet hands. Also the lining gets caught up on your boots and wrinkles up like Nora Batty's tights which makes the trousers awkward to get on. A pity the designers didn't spend a bit of time trying these out before releasing them to the public.

These FLM overtrousers are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
I have worn them in freezing conditions and they've kept my legs very TOASTY - free from wind chill. They're also definitely waterproof.
I wear them over thermals, forcefield armoured pants and Rev'it Inca trousers all layers work - yes in the winter!
Am going to get myself another pair because they are utterly BRILL.leg length spot on for me (am 5'8"). Thigh pocket is SO handy!
My boots (sports & adventure types) fit easy with the generous velcro closure.
Velcro is secure, accidentally rode with 1 of my other bike keys in pocket and it didn't fall out!
Material feels both tough and lightweight - very tactile.
I am in no doubt they will last a good long while.
I have been advised by the Very Wonderful customer service people (in particular Sam Dann who advised me with this purchase) that these trousers won't be restocked so GET A PAIR NOW! For the price, no worries!
