SW Motech URBAN ABS Side Case Set - Black

The best customer service I've had so far buying motorcycle accessories, both on the phone and interacting online.

Bought these as a more secure option to my previous sys bag 15. Spec says not much difference in capacity but in reality the Urban cases seem to handle a fair bit more luggage. With the removable inners easier to pack too. But its the looks that impress. On my black Kawasaki Vulcan S they look absolutely tailored made. Very impressed and simple locking works well. They could be smashed into but so could aluminium ones and these don't have the extra weight and bulk.

These panniers are so well designed, they are just so far ahead of any of the competition. Firstly they look brilliant - they don't detract from the look of your bike in any way when fitted, in fact they look factory. Secondly, there are a lot of nice design touches, such as the internal strapping, which both keeps items in place, but also prevents the panniers from dropping all the way open if you need to open them at the side of the road. Quality waterproof inner bag liners too. Everything about these panniers says top quality, I would definitely recommend !

Really pleased with the cases. Very easy to attach and remove off the bike, they're also very spacious. Would highly recommend.

Finding panniers/cases that fit my Ducati Monster 821 was quite an ordeal. The 2018 onwards model is different from the previous model, and I fitted passenger side handles from Ducati. I first tried Shad. Despite their website saying their panniers would fit my bike even if I have passenger side handles. They didn't. Shad and bikeluggage (a reseller of Shad) did nothing despite providing the wrong info on their website. They kept on saying I must have fitted it wrong or I used non-Ducati side handles. I went to an official Ducati dealer and the technician even checked the Shad website for me. Anyway, long story short, I was out of pocket for trying Shad. I switched to the SW Motech brackets and side cases and they fit. The SW Motech side cases match the overall scheme of my Monster well. They look durable and high quality. The tiny locks are not anti-theft but they do keep the zipper firmly zipped up. The side cases do not fit a helmet and are not large enough for real touring but are good enough for day to day usage. They are also not large enough to fit A4 documents which I discovered when doing a post office run. They have a quick release clip and there is a knob in the panniers that locks them in place so they don't fly off at high speed. Overall, I am very pleased with the cases.
