These gloves were recomended to me by a friend of mine, who has the MK3's which are four year's old and still in use. He wears a Medium (velcro wrist strap) which I tried on and were a good fit. Ordered a Medium in MK4's (Boa system integrated wrist strap) but found them to tight at the wrist. Sent back and ordered Large. Still snug at the wrist but much easier to get on and off.
I find the gloves now really comfortable and give you confidence knowing you're wearing one of the safest gloves out there. Expensive but worth it. What price safety!! Very pleased.
This is the second set I've had due to them being so good, the previous version I had used a velcro strap at the wrist however this newer version is integrated with the Boa system and as a result having tried the M and L sizes makes little difference to the wrist size opening, it's a snug fit getting your hand in and out past the zig zag stitching at the wrist, if I'd known the wrist gap wouldn't change much between the two sizes I'd tried I'd have kept the M as it fitted perfectly based on my hand measurements (as per the guide). Good news SBS have a great returns policy so you can try for yourself to see what works for you.
These are the replacement gloves for my original handroids.
These latest versions are even better for size, the fingers all seem to fit nicely.
The fastening mechanism is more fiddly than before I think, but it works fine.
My old gloves (first version) last over 40000miles.. Riding in all conditions on my CBR, from track days to travel around europe, sun to rain, they nerer let me down so without hesitation I ordered them again. Thank you Knox!
Excellent gloves - I ordered a medium as I had had a small pair before and they were far too tight.
Good looking, well made ,long lasting (previous mk1 pair lasted 11 years and are still wearable).
Super soft underside for great control and armoured top for protection.
Highly recommend. 5 stars.
Just amazing gloves right out of the package, firs perfectly and the safest glove out there.
Thanks Sportsbikeshop for the rapid and easy order.
This is my second pair of handroids. First lasted me quite literally 10 years and only now have I had to replace them.
The new boa system is a lot cleaner and easy to operate. Perfect fitment for gauntlet and tightness around the wrist. Highly recommend
Best gloves.
Took a few days to break-in, the small finger is a little long, not a major issue, build quality and materials seem very good, will need to see how these wear over the year as far as the stitching. Had the Knox Nexos which are in perfect condition apart from the material on each index finger which has worn out, if this could have been fixed then there would have been no reason to get a new pair of gloves. These gloves don't seem to have this point of failure. Size wise I've had to go up one size from my Nexos to get the right fit. The glove does not have a strap which tightens up around the wrist and help to open up for easier removal, therefore the glove is easy to get on but a pain in the rear to get off. The gloves do give a good sense of protection, not really sure whether the finger protection is any better than gloves with the standard finger protection. Communication via the throttle is great and they also mold to the throttle very comfortably, almost as good as the Nexos.
Although expensive, these are simply the best motorcycle gloves available.
Well made, with incredible protection they are worth every penny.
Sizing is on the small side -
I suggest that you buy a size above the size suggested in their Fit Guide.
I was looking for more wrist protection and ventilation for summer. The fit was fine measuring palm width. They are a bit stiff at first as other reviewers say but break in. I find throttle control with these is great. I have a textile jacket with forearm leather and wondered if they would fit ok over it- no problem. They are billed as a sports / track glove but are fine for road based adventure rider looking for extra level of hand/ wrist protection. I chose the colour for an extra bit of visibility - happy with that. I don't find getting on and off a problem- just follow the instructions . Happy as usual with excellent Sportsbikeshop service and delivery????
Bought these following a crash and a shattered wrist for more support. So far really pleased with them , lots of support and protection, great fit. They are comfortable and lite considering the heavy looking protection. Expensive but you do get what you pay for !
Perfect
Brilliant pair of gloves, a little bit harsh to wear in initially and very chunky on the wrist compared to the other gloves on the market, but this is a confidence inspiring thing! The palm is very thin and a little bit weird at first but once your used to it the control it gives on the bike is brilliant. Plus they look like something batman would wear so pretty much a win win
It is a bit of a faff to put on these gloves because I need to twist the knob to close the cuffs. They offer good protection. I crashed at 30 mph and landed on my knuckles on one hand and palm on the other. Both hands are fine and barely hurt. I think I could have broken something if I had not been wearing these gloves with hard knuckle protection. Also, there is a certain cool factor with this exoskeleton robot thing going on. I love the leather on the palm, very grippy. The gloves fit well on my hands. I have longish fingers and a narrow palm. I also like that the cuffs are very long and protect my wrists too. It is a summer glove. A lot of air flow so definitely not waterproof but they are not sold as such anyway.
The only reason I've gone for good instead of excellent is the thumbs a little bit too long but is that the gloves fault? They are not made to measure!
The instructions to measure your hand and then the advice stated is spot on to be fair
Once on very comfortable and very snug I chose the medium although it said if you wanted a looser fit go one up..I'm glad I didn't because of the thumbs issue
I'm hoping they will give a little where the hand meets the wrist only for ease of putting on and taking off
I have only had two rides in them (about 90mls)
Brilliant none the less and once again service from sportsbike excellent
I've had a lot of friends that have had these gloves. I thought I would give them a go. Purchased for track days only. They do have a comfy grip easy to put on hopefully they will wear in a bit more comfortable after a few hundred miles. Can't go wrong Buying these.

The Knox Handroid MK IV Motorcycle Gloves take a bold step forward in modern design and innovation. Set to become the new "go to" glove for every rider, on any bike. The award-winning Handroid set the standard for motorcycle sports gloves with its unique design and look, including the famous exoskeleton finger spines for impact and abrasion resistance. The challenge for Knox has always been to continuously improve, innovate and develop the right products. And with the Handroid MK IV Motorcycle glove, to make the design exciting and accessible to urban and sports riders alike. The result is a new sleek and modern aesthetic. The striking exoskeleton spines now have a much lower profile, a softer feel and are more aerodynamic than before, yet just as effective. All high points have been replaced by smooth slick mouldings made in strong but soft TPU. The metacarpal protector covering the back of the hand houses a gel lining for impact absorption. The Handroid still uses only the very highest quality materials like lightweight 0.8mm drum dyed leather from Korea chosen for its light weight, strength and supple feel. Sustainable 0.8mm Kangaroo hide has been selected for its superior strength and enhanced feel on the palm and fingers. By weight, it is still stronger than any other leather. The SPS Impact is a development of the Knox patented Scaphoid protection system and has the added benefit of Micro-Lock impact protection incorporated into the slider. The continued collaboration with Boa, to improve the wrist closure system has resulted in a huge step forward. The MK IV no longer relies on a secondary retaining wrist strap but instead is a simple 1 step dial-in system that is much more secure. Fit and comfort have been significantly improved with a box construction of the fingers. Meticulous attention is given to the construction. A 15 test CE approval process gives external verification and covers materials, fit, cut, abrasion resistance, seam and tear strength and impact absorption to EN 13594- 2015
