Good quality and seems waterproof (not in v heavy rain yet). Fits my 13" laptop, waterproofs etc for ride into work..

Good firm attachment to seat and can leave it there as straps need seat taking off to remove... Downside of course, is it's a bit of a faff to take off if you want to take bag with you.. overall a good compromise..

Having bought a cheaper, unbranded bag and paid a hefty price because the zip failed and I lost rain wear, puncture repair kit and pump; I decided to try this bag.
I'm generally a fan of Oxford products and I think this bag will do the job nicely. It is a slightly smaller capacity than I have previously tried but it is big enough to carry essentials to fix punctures etc which is what I want for a Sunday run out.
It is well made, has abundant, secure fixings and is a reasonable price.
My first impressions are good.

Perfect for strapping on pillion seat for basic items, waterproof and excellent quality.

Fits absolutely perfectly on my Honda CB500X.
Carries puncture repair kit and water proof jacket easily. 8 litres is sufficient for just minimal basics.. waterproofs, locks etc. Completely waterproof (tested). At this price too! Excellent.

I purchased this tail bag to carry my disc locks and security chain whilst on a bike tour to France. The tail bag secured to my pillion seat using the two velcro straps. One of the straps was a little long due to the shape of the seat, but no real problem. There was enough room to hold two disc locks and the LiteLok. There is a roll down fastening which clips to side fastenings. The outside pocket was big enough to hold the four securing straps provided and my stand puck. Good Tail Bag.

Waterproof and useful sized tail bag. Securely fastened to rack using straps supplied. Velcro didn't cut the mustard as too loose. Waterproofs, hat and disc lock easily fitted in to it with room to spare.

Got the bag to put waterproof kit in rather than back pack does the job fits on pillion section perfect

Small bag holds waterproofs jumper and drink and tyre repair kit bought some oxford straps look smarter than supplied straps well made and suits my retro bike

Good waterproof bag, and you get all 8l of useable capacity as it is a simple large 'bucket' construction. Holds my essentials and jumper/waterproofs on a 125cc and straps down to look quite sleek on the pillion seat even when full. Folds flat and weighs nothing when it's empty, unlike the other parachutes. Two velcro straps and plenty of other D rings and tie down points, but I keep it mounted permanently (and take the magnetic tank bag from the same range). Only complaint is mine had clearly been stored folded flat for too long, and had large stress creases in the waterproof fabric that will eventually be a point of failure or leak, but I'm pretty sure that's a long way down the road as it's a sturdy bit of kit - think the modern answer to waxed cotton.

This bag let down by its mounting system. Its not easy to get on and off the bike. No quick release Buckles.

Comfortably fits a disc lock, a 1.5m 13mm pragmasis chain and d-lock with room to spare. It's simple enough to attached to the bike and goes on my SV650 AL8 solidly using two of the supplied D loop straps to anchor it to the pillion pegs. No water ingress and the material is 100% waterproof.
Only gripe would be that once on, its on and you have to unstrap to carry it away, but for the price, you can't go wrong, I'll just put contents I want to take in a bag!
