Sena SRL2 Shoei Bluetooth Communication System - GT Air 2 / Neotec 2

I've had this intercom for just over 2 years. The battery is only lasting 2 hours now. I've looked at different forums and it seems to be a common issue with this. SBS weren't interested when I told them the problem

The service from SBS was excellent as usual.
However unable to connect to my friends Nolan intercom (also made by SENA) and by looking online this is a common issue.
Despite several emails never had a reply from SENA support. Useless!!

Great product, very easy to assemble, arrived quickly.

As you would expect this fits nicely into the Neotec 2. Sound quality is very good, button takes some getting used to, app is clear to read. It took a bit of time connecting my phone because it showed up as two seperate Bluetooth devices with different Sena names. Once I realised and deleted those devices, I named my headset and then that came up on the phone. It now seamlessly connects every time I switch on. Voice commands aren't great though and I cannot ask Siri to do things like I can on my Cardo. In fact voice commands don't seem to do anything at all.
Phone conversations are very clear and I've yet to try the comms with my brother.

Overall worth it, especially for the integration side of things. Bit on the expensive side. Works very well with other Sena products. Looks great when fitted, but a bit of a pain to fit ... the instructions are not clear and you really have to disassemble the helmet, but I found a good youtube video which explained it better. Once fitted though, good product. Voice control is great :-)

As usual 5* for Sportsbikeshop ordering, updates and delivery by DPD who as usual were also excellent.
This headset is well made, great sound quality and fitted to my Shoei Cruise2 open face. Perhaps instructions could be cleared, and stowage of some wires was simply push into liner somehow but not to any troublesome extent. Paired very quickly to my phone and Honda NT1100, work seamlessly. Controls on the Sena unit really simple and ergonomic. I have a Cardo spirit basic unit fitted to my Neotec 3 and they also are a great unit but much cheaper. Sound wouldn't be as good at all and not helmet specific you have to improvise fitting which I found straightforward. No regrets buying the Sena, Sportsbikeshop were the most competitively priced at the time of purchase

Nice piece of kits but these and all motorbike headsets feel like they are overpriced.

Really good Comms system for my Shoei GTAir 2. Works really well and is seamlessly integrated into the helmet. Fitting is relatively simple, but a bit fiddly ensuring all the wires are tucked away and not kinked…the instructions in the box are next to useless but there are plenty of online video guides to help. Great service from SBS (as always) and at a price that none of the stands at the NEC Motorbike Show could beat.

The Senna system stopped working so sent it back for a check over. The system was a year old, so Sportsbikeshop took it back and as it was unrepairable, sent me a new system. Cannot fault Sportsbikeshop, service is great and very polite and helpful.

I've been using one of these in my Neotec 2 for the last 2 years and have now bought a second to fit to my new GT air 2. Straight forward to fit although I'd advise on viewing a video tutorial before starting (the Motolegends one on YouTube is very helpful). Great clear sound for music and conversation with pillion or riding companion. Range realistically around 500 yards. I've dropped a mark as the FM radio is completely useless. Otherwise, highly recommended.

I have the Sena intercom system in my old GT Air, which is excellent and easy to use with gloves, even with thick winter gloves, unfortunately this system is no where near as good. The sound quality is excellent but the controls on the side of the helmet are too small to feel with gloves, even thin summer gloves and so they can't be adjusted on the move.

Bought to go with Shoei Neotec 2.

Easy to fit, great battery life and a good clear sound.
