Oxford Aqua T30 Roll Bag - Grey / Black

Really good quality product, helpful staff, great price

Excellent sized bag for a two week camping trip. The open ended bags are a pain to see into and everything has to be pulled out - with these you can open the bag and look in. Kept everything waterproof but I wouldn't use the pocket. I also put my clothing into carrier bags inside this bag (separate clean/dirty) so that gives extra protection if the rain is torrential. Plenty of space but folds/rolls down as needed. Can't comment on the securing straps as I've not used them.

Mixed thoughts about this because on the one hand the bag is excellent and does what it says on the tin. It's a good size, is 100% waterproof and fits securely to the pillion seat. I used it for 2 trips to Scotland in May and June when the weather was cold and very wet and it kept my belongings dry.
The reason I can't recommend it though is because the pocket on the bag only has water 'resistant' zips so the pocket fills up and retains water. My Oxford aqua rucksack AND its pocket have been 100 % waterproof during 5 years of use and I assumed this would be the same.
First time I thought 'whatever' but every subsequent time it happened means you have to bail out the pocket and wipe the grime out which gets irritating.
I asked SBS and Oxford about this separately but both just pointed me to the description of water resistant.
Bottom line - buy something else with a waterproof pocket or no pocket.
It just makes no sense to have a water resistant pocket on a waterproof bag!
