Schuberth C4 Pro Carbon - Tempest White

Bought this as an upgrade to my 6 year old C3 pro. Much lighter and more comfortable. Looks smaller on my head too. Quieter than the C3 but still get a fair bit of wind noise at higher speeds. Haven't had another manufacturer's helmet though so don't know if this is normal or compare to others

This is a tricky one. Only used it once. Overall the helmet is well made plush inside quiet as a helmet can be. With very good vision. Think graphics are great, personal choice I know. However, at over 40MPH, the top vent when closed creates an annoying howling noise. When open its OK and good ventilation. When partly closed it seems OK. But this leave a trickle ventilation when not wanted. At over £600 it should be perfect. This may be a design fault or just a fault on this helmet. I will be speaking to SB Shop shortly to sort out.

this is my second Schubert. the previous one was 5 years old and was already pretty good. This one is much improved in terms of lightness, fit and comfort, and so stylish ! excellent service from Sportsbikeshop as always

Very light, a great helmet

Love the look of the carbon, the helmet is very light and fits me well, particularly around the neck is a much closer fit that my previous AGV helmet and im sure this contributes to it being so much quieter.

Love the wide visor as well, the field of view seems much wider than other helmets ive had.

Ive installed the comms system (plug and play into dedicated slots) and its clear and works well.

Unique helmet in terms of appearance, comfort and quality. Very light, comfortable and quiet with great visibility. Pre-installed elements of the SC1 intercom system and dedicated slots in the helmet make its installation child's play. Recommend for every motorcycle fans!

Upgraded from a cheaper flip up lid and what a difference. Amazing looking helmet. Very comfortable and nice and quiet. I love the field of view from the large visor and the pin lock works very well.

Before purchasing this helmet I was unsure as to how much an improvement it would be on my current C3 Pro. Answer - it is a big improvement. The C4 is very comfortable and very light. There are still improvements to be made in terms of quietness but it is better than most. I have found that the C4 handles turbulent air more smoothly than my C3 pro. The integrated intercom system components saves the hassle of fitting an intercom.

Comfortable, quality helmet. My third C series Schuberth. Light, good fit and quiet. I always wear ear plugs!
The only criticism I have is the white lever for operating the sun visor is looser than normal and vibrates in certain situations.

Fourth Schubert's I've had in 15 years - just get better and better. Comfortable, well fitting and light.

Fits perfectly, lining is very comfortable and soft.
With intercom it weights 1700 g (XL) but don't feel it during ride. Noise isolation is very good and I can listen to music even when driving for about 120-130 km/h.

Brilliant piece of kit been doing a lot of research with other helmets in it's field previously had a schuberth c3 pro bought from sportsbikeshop got to old and smelly it's a great improvement especially carbon so light no more neck ache was concerned with its fit schuberth seem to go for a tight fit (no helmet movement great when your on the move) tried on around the house it's the same sort of fit as c3 pro but a much better improvement , went out for 130 mile ish ride buy the end hardly new I was wearing it , vents are brilliant nice blow coming on top of head bought with sc1 advanced comms plug and play fantastic don't be put of to start with it's Buttons are a bit fiddly but you soon find them overall very happy no more stinky helmet thanks sportsbikeshop great price service etc as always

tTPO QUALITY. FANTASTIC COMFORT IN GENERAL BUT I HIGHLIGHT THE SPACE FOR EARS (I USE OCULO) EVEN WITH THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM INSTALLED.

Don't think it's as quiet as they want you to believe, but it's incredibly well built. Materials are wonderful. It's a bigger than normal shell for any equivalent size helmet so be careful with panniers. Large visor with double glass anti fog pin-lock. good quality strap device.
