The SW Motech side stand extension is a very well engineered accessory, machined from billet aluminium it is strong, effective and easy to fit. It gives peace of mind when parking on looser surfaces such as gravel and looks great. Not cheap but well worth it.

This side stand extension offers a large contact surface to improve the motorcycle's parking footprint on rough surfaces and soft ground. The extension is CNC milled from high strength aluminium alloy, the combination of anodized aluminium and stainless steel provides great durability under all climate conditions. The grooved upper ledge helps to swing out the side stand easily even while wearing heavy boots.
