SW Motech Crash Bars - BMW R 1200 GS (13-)

I fitted these the bars myself. They are high quality bars and I think one of the best out there, but be aware you'll need some specialised tools and liquid thread sealer to complete the job. A torque wrench with range from 17 to 79 Nm is needed and specialised wrench bits (torq heads up to size 55). Without these you won't even be able to remove the original bolts from the bike frame. Consider spending some time online to see how others have tackled the job.
I felt the instructions were okay but certainly not to be rushed over. A top tip I found was to label all the parts to make following the instructions easier (20 minutes well spent).

I have fitted these, definitely easier with a second set of hands. They look really nice on the bike, and don't look too big. Really sturdy construction, hopefully I'll never test them but if I do I'm confident they will protect the important bits.
