bought this product because my hands really suffer from the cold, they go numb and it stops my winter riding but now, wow, what a great change, i can ride well into the winter months not tied to the bike and hands free. Thoroughly recommend, Great product.

I bought this kit as I kept forgetting I was hooked up to the bike with the plug in. Great bit of kit...It was the second battery pack as the first one I ordered I made a cock up and just clicked buy..Only to find I had bought the 7.5volt set, the staff at SBS are ace..three or four days and I had the correct kit ...Many thanks guys.

I bought these because I wasn't too keen on the lead hanging out of my jacket when I wasn't on the bike plus after riding in torrential rain the engine management light illuminated on my 3 month old bike . I removed the power lead for the gloves from the battery just to see if it was that and the light went out and hasn't been on since . I can only think that some water got in and caused a glitch . On the plus side the gloves kept my hands warm and dry in the storm.
The battery packs fit in the gloves well and don't feel to bulky I havnt tested the duration yet because my commute is only 30 mins each way

Do these batteries fit the XR12 gloves?
November 23, 2018The B12V-1900 battery is recommended by Gerbing for the XR12 gloves. These batteries can provide the gloves with upto 4.5 hours heat output.
Are the batteries included in B12V-1900 kit physically larger than the ones in B12V-1200 kit? Thanks.

Is it possible to change the power output from the batteries like previous versions?
October 12, 2018The power output or heat settings, can be changed from 1-3.
Does this battery pack have a variable heat control and display like the previous version, so I can see the heat level through the window on the glove?
October 12, 2018Both batteries have a built-in temperature controller with 3 different settings. Red is 100% heat output, Orange is 66% heat output and yellow is 33% heat output. A LED-indicator shows how much power is left in the battery.
