Easy to install, easy to set up and easy to use. Adds an extra dimension to rides with pillion. Good quality sound, really happy with the product.
On balance these were a great purchase, really easy to fit, great battery life, good sound quality. However, keep in mind that these pads are less flexible than the originals, so if your helmet is quite snug, you'll find it even more so. Also, found that the unit from time to time stops responding. It's not the end of the world as it usually comes back to life fairly quickly. A firmware update definitely did the trick in minimizing the problems but still some issues. I'll keep testing before I make a full judgement on them!
Sound quality is very good (firmware update will probably be required on purchase) and they fit well. They will cause the opening to the helmet snd the fit to me a little more snug than previously. Nice and easy to use and the battery life is amazing.
Really glad I decided to get this for my IS-17 helmet, a bit pricy but worth every penny, took 5 mins to swap out the cheekpads for the Sena ones, no messing about with wires. Sound quality is brilliant on music, calls, satnav directions etc. Now riding even happier with Metallica blasting away too. Love it!
This is a very good quality piece off kit. I bought this mainly to use for listening to music on long journeys and am very impressed. I don't hear any wind noise that interferes with the sound at 70mph. The buttons are very easy to use and surprisingly work well with bulky winter gloves. This works well with my sat nav and when receiving calls. Battery life is excellent, I have done a return trip to Manchester from London listening to music, changing tracks, and still had life left in battery when I got home. At just under £200 this is well worth it, very sleek design and cannot tell it's there as there is no bulky control unit stuck to the side off the helmet. Setting up was easy literally took a few mins. Next day delivery service by Sportsbike shop so got the item next day with no fuss

Bought the senna for my is-17 and it's amazing. The fit is fantastic and the sound quality and ease of use is top notch. Pricey but worth every penny, no wires getting in the way and simple to use even with winter gloves.

The Sena 10U-PAD has an integrated unibody design, the 10U-PAD can be installed into your helmet with ease, creating an integrated HJC IS-17 headset. Simply snap in the right and left cheek pads and you're ready to ride. The tri-button control is located at the lower part of the left cheek pad for easy access while riding. No longer will speakers and a microphone have to be installed into the helmet, simply place the cheek pads inside of your helmet and you're good to go.
The Sena 10U-PAD offers all of the functionality of a Sena Bluetooth headset but is completely invisible from the outside of the helmet. Take and make phone calls, listen to GPS navigation, stream and share music, talk to other riders through 4-way intercom and more all through the 10U-PAD. Does this bluetooth intercom fit the hjc i70 which is the replacement for the is17?
June 4, 2019Sena have only confirmed compatibility with the HJC IS-17. Therefore we can only advise that this intercom will not be suitable for any other HJC Helmet.

March 29, 2019This unit is specifically for the HJC IS-17. You will need a universal intercom for your R-PHA ST, as no specific intercom is available.
