SW Motech Alu-Rack

This is a sturdy piece of kit and fits my Multistrada perfectly. I got it to carry a Shad 45 topbox because the baseplate supplied for it would not fit the bike's original rack. The new Motech rack fits over the original and I then fitted the topbox baseplate to it. It just needed a couple of holes drilled to suit the bolthole positions and that got it securely fitted. A good job and although pricey, the quality is excellent.

The elegant and versatile SW Motech Alu-Rack cuts a good figure as a rack. The aluminum all-rounder combined with an appropriate adapter plate provides secure grip for top cases from SW Motech or other manufacturers, as well as SysBag 30. The Alu-Rack adapter is mounted simply with just three quick-release fasteners. To secure the top case to the adapter plate in turn you just need one hand grip - thanks to the Quick-Lock quick-release fastener system.
