Puig Touring Windscreen - Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport

Had been running the MRA screen but the buffeting at motorway speeds was very annoying. Decided to purchase this screen and what a transformation. Even in the lowest setting it's better than the MRA was in the high position. It's also easy to adjust on the move due to the extra leverage. Very well made. No screen wobble at all at speed. I highly recommend this screen. A must have in my opinion.

This screen is really good it's two inches higher on the lowest position than the original screen. It's a good thickness so it doesn't flap at speed. I believe I have made the right choice.

This is a really high quality screen and is easy to install and works effectively. I'm 5' 8" and find it quieter than the original screen. It's also not too high so I can easily see over the top of it.

What a great purchase. The screen takes all the wind pressure off your shoulders, looks great and fits very easily. I did 600 miles in two motorway trips, including heavy rain and it really helped keep the weather off me. I am 5 10 and could still see over it easily enough. Great price too and swift delivery as ever.

Having tried the MRA multi X creen and found that albeit it does reduce buffeting, I was disappointed with the wind noise starting around 60mph that I experienced. After persisting in adjusting the MRA screen to suit, I gave up and bought the Puig touring screen as it is higher than both the original and MRA screen. This has reduced the wind noise significantly for me. I did consider the Puig screen with the added visor but having read one review on that, where the reviewer (over 6ft) found it superfluous, I decided to go with this screen. I am 6 ft tall and find this screen works better for me....and at its best price from Sportsbikeshop.

Fits as described and gives good protection.

Great quality product as usual from. Puig but didn't give the wind protection needed. I'm only 5'10 and was either getting battered by the wind on low setting of deafened at high speed on the high setting. Great service from Superbike Shop as always.

Having tried the standard Triumph Tiger Sport screen which was awful I then tried the MRA dedicated screen which was better by reducing buffeting but was very noisy. I then fitted the Puig Touring Screen. This reduced the wind noise so i didn't need ear plugs but the screen being tall introduced vibration through the bike. This then caused an effect similar to buffeting.
I removed the top screws which have springs to enable the screen to be adjusted, these cause the screen to wobble.
I used two black plastic nuts that are used to attach a number plate. I drilled through with a 7.5mm drill and this then allows the screws to tighten solid. The plastic nuts prevent over tightening. The height can be changed if required using an allen key in two minutes.
Result is no buffeting. Acceptable noise levels and stability even in high winds. Good even at autobahn speeds. It has made the Tiger a really enjoyable motorcycle. Pity Triumph couldn't get it right on my 2020 model.
Puig need to supply additional fasteners to achieve a stable fixing similar to the plastic spacers i made.
The Puig is well made and in light smoke matches the Tiger perfectly.

Better wind protection than the original screen. Less wind noise at speed due to having more height adjustment. The shape helps shield your shoulders causing less fatigue on longer rides. Light smoke screen complements my Triumph Tiger 1050 Sport, and looks great. Couldn't fault this upgrade. Price very good with Sportsbikeshop aswell. No regrets.

Decided to go for the light smoke to get a little more vision through the screen and it's perfect - colour and size looks great on the bike as well.
Did a back to back trial of the original and the new bigger screen and in it's lowest position the Puig screen gives a little more wind protection than the original in the highest position, mainly to my shoulders. In the higher positions the wind protection increases and helmet noise reduces, I'm 5ft 10in, and with the screen in the highest position there's no wind on your helmet up to motorway speeds.
Price and delivery from Sportsbikeshop were both excellent and the Puig screen quality is easily as good as the original triumph screen. Fitting was an easy 10 minute job.
Great product that I would highly recommend.
