Second time buying

These are great and easy to install. I've bought these for a second time after "dinging" my other pair. It would be great if just the plastic guards would come as spares to save waste and cost. These guards are great if you want to deflect some cold wind for winter riding. Takes the edge off. Once installed however I couldn't get the bar inserts out... but if you don't want the full deflector for summer you can always unmount the guards and put plastic ends on to smarten up the look. Would recommend.

Nice guard but not universal

These are well made guards, single point of contact with the bars means they won't be as robust as two-point guards but I'm pretty confident they'll protect my levers against undergrowth and light falls off road. I've got ProTaper bars and these don't fit as supplied, the bars have an inner sleeve that reduces the ID of the bar to 14mm, so the expanding anchor is too big to fit. A bit of jiggery-pokery with the anchor from an M10 Rawlbolt did the job.

Help with Raynaud's Syndrome

I needed to protect my fingers from the cold air to help with my "frozen fingers" (Reynauld's Syndrome) so as always I went for an Oxford product, ordered from the Sportsbikeshop.
Simply coz' both are first class.

Fitted these to a Honda CB500X. It's necessary to first get out the existing weighted handlebar inserts, which isn't that easy. Once that's done, fitting is easy. These replaced another set that were destroyed by a pheasant!

Handguards are easily fitted to BMW R1250RS. No need for expanding bolts as handlebars aren't hollow, however, the supplied bolt has same screw dimensions as bar ends.
They seem to give adequate weather protection as are aerodynamically configured as for purpose and also are tough! Great product supplied by SBS and produced by Oxford...perfect combination!

These are good quality for the price. Fitted them to a Triumph T100, but needed to be adapted to fit. Not sure anything fits a T100 anyway. They work well and look good.

These hand guards certainly kept the wind blast off the front of the hands, making the heated grips more effective. Provide some rain protection also. A decent cheaper option.

Pleased with the handguards, although had to wrap tape around the non expanding part of the internal mechanism. Without the tape there was too much clearance in the bar which allowed the hand guard to move slightly. Not a problem and easily solved.

Good Looking Protection

I wanted something to offer protection from lever impacts and this will do. The style stays in line with my bike and feel sturdy. I have seen some brown water marks so will have to oil the spacers.

Fit to Rocket III

Good quality product. The Rocket does not have standard handlebars so had to make some changes to make them fit but they look good. Hope they work in keeping the wind off my finger tips which always suffer the most.

Reasonable addition, however, I find these offer very little in wind deflection. Fitting is not the best, I used rubber inserts to help as they rattle otherwise.

Great quality and easily fitted to the bike. Takes the wind chill off the hand on those chilly mornings.
Hardest part was getting the old bar-ends off the bike but with a Youtube search, easy!
