I bought these to equip a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 for track days. The installation was simple and the lever guards are very secure in the end of the handle bars. I would comment that lubricating the threads with oil or similar, makes a big difference to how tight you can get the anchor to locate in the end of the handlebars.

Nice quality but not universal fit

These lever guards are clearly high quality and really look the part.
They are very adjustable to cater for reach and lever width.

My only gripe is that they are not universal enough in terms of the bars they will fit into….
There are 2 slotted expansion bushes with each lever. One is appx 12mm diameter and the second is appx 17mm.
With one bush slotted over the other I found that I couldn't insert these into my 22mm bars (2009 Yamaha R1) which has a 16mm bore (once the original bar weight fitment insert has been removed).
Tried using just the 12mm bush, but with the cone pulled half way down its length it still wasn't gripping the inside of the bars. I was worried that any more tightening would sprain / break the bush which was already splayed open a long way!
Luckily I have a lathe and I was able to knock up some bespoke sized bushings. The guards now fit like a charm and clamp up solidly with no issues.

Would give these a 10/10 if they came with a range of different diameter bushings included to make them truly universal.
This really does detract from their ease of fitment and makes for much frustration - so they get a 7/10 from me.

Well made and easily adjustable. Only downside is the only mounting option is the expanding collar system my bike has internal anchor points in the ends of the bars so I had to get creative with some washers to safely fit them without pinching my throttle tube. If you have standard open bars this will not be an issue. Due to the removal of the intended mounting system they were a tad lighter than I should like on my bar ends, but nothing that I couldn't get used to after a few minutes or so. Was all I required to get my bike onto the track with the new leaver guard requirements and they served their purpose well. Not sure if my Jerry rigged mounting system is quite as sturdy as the intended method, but was more than adequate. For the price and the fact they come as a matching pair in the one box, well worth it.

Not a straightforward install

Love the lever guards, think they look great and they feel very robust. However, a night mate to install (at least in my case). Fitting into 22mm bars but the expansion part didn't not want to grip and tighter on either side. After some persuasion managed to get them both to tighten

Ok product, not great example

Upon removing external packaging the box had a large tear at the top like it had been opened. One lever guard had large scratch marks on the bigger spacer and the other had a cable tie attached (?) that I had to cut off; the large spacer was also expanded like the guards had been used previously (no marks on actual arm of product).

I then had to softly hammer the spacers back to a small size so that they would fit inside my handlebar. No instructions in the packaging so was unaware that the product could be used with just the smaller spacer alone (the bigger one almost fit, adding to my confusion that it may have if I had not of received a used product instead of a new one).

In the process I lost the small screw in bit that goes into the end of the lever guard to stop the bolt spinning so had to purchase some rawl bolts from my local tool shop in M6/M8 size and use the end of that in the product instead.

Product is as expected, but not happy with being sent a used damaged set (internally, that is) given I purchased what I thought was a new product.

Fitted now, but more of a pain than it should have been.

Handy to be able to switch between lever guards and handguards in the summer/winter.

Not as universal as I'd hoped!

This is the second time I've bought these lever guards. First time was for a Street Triple. Didn't fit, sent them back. This time they were bought for a KTM 890 Duke and they fit in the bar, but don't go in far enough to fit properly, so I've had to bodge it a bit. Quality wise they're very good and well priced when you consider you get both sides in the box. Not a big fan of the prominent branding, but otherwise good.

Left for the sighting lap on the track and the screws rattled them self lose and the guard end feel off on the track. That was my day over until after lunch. Wasn't happy

Great looking lever guards and easy to fit , had a problem with one guard as I lost part of it while I was out on a run , SBS sort this out quickly and sent out a replacement set . Usual great service from SBS and new set are fine , I have put lock tite on all the screws to stop them loosening off .

The sizing on the advert is wrong, they are meant to fit 22mm bars with an internal dia of 13-18mm. In fact they fit an internal dia of 18 - 22mm. Oxford need to get their sizes right as I had to return them
