For an inexpensive lock I'm happy with its performance. The lock mechanism feels fine when operating and not like it was full of sand as was with the case with another brand's item that I had to return. I doubt that this style of lock from any manufacturer will withstand a serious attempt from a professional thief to break it for very long, but as a deterrent against the opportunist it'll be fine. Compact and easy to keep in your bike.

I received the Disc lock quickly as expected from SportsbikeShop. I choose the metallic surface finish and was very pleased with the aesthetics of the device. The heart of the device is a 6mm, through-disc steel pin, time will tell whether this is sufficient to prevent front wheel rotation; it may be possible to shear the pin if sufficient "shock loading could be applied, perhaps unlikely but maybe ?
