Nolan Pinlock with silicone bead seal works well. I previously used an insert without silicone seal which rattled around against the visor and scratched both items substantially. Price is high at £30 and availability poor - neither comments are Sportsbikeshop's fault. Their service and friendly staff are superb as always

I have several crash helmets and have put a Pinlock visor on each and every one. I wouldn't use a helmet now that has not got one fitted and I certainly wouldn't purchase a helmet that was not Pinlock ready.
I find they are a significant aid to good visibility in the worst of weather and cannot rate them highly enough.
Regular cleaning is a must once you learn to rely on them for clear vision.
I ride every day and never ride without a Pinlock visor. If only they had been around 51 years ago when I first started motorcycling, but then we didn't even need a helmet.

Pinlock insert, couldn't be with out one

Brought this to replace the one that came with the crash helmet as the silicon seal had failed after two years and about 10,000 miles. So once again I have a clear mist free visor.
