Excellent Givi top box, arrived on time and as I already had a rack fitted went straight onto bike. Box looks great in black and suitable to store a helmet.
I purchased this after my previous Givi top box was smashed in an accident. I have fitted it to a BMW rear rack with the Givi adapter plate and it looks really good. It's not too big and there is plenty of room to store a helmet. I know some people have had issues getting it to lock due to the damping rubbers on the adapter plate but I didn't have this problem and everything works perfectly and as it should. The usual excellent next day delivery service from Sportsbikeshop too.

Struggled to get the top box to lock, had to remove the rubber bungs on the Givi M9B top plate to allow the top box to lock in place, once done fits perfectly and looks great on the bike (Africa Twin). Even fits the XXL Shoei Neotec easily with plenty of room for other items.

Solid bit of kit and not too big. Fitted to SW Motech rack with adapter plate.

Fits 1 helmet in and a small amount of kit ok better than bmw box just have to make sure u push it in good and hard
Very prompt delivery. SBShelped me with what bracket I needed for my Ktm 890 adv which is a Sr9430 and an m8 givi plate but did not have any in stock. Box itself is perfect size not too big not too small. It fits my helmet in.
Fitting was a bit of a pain not reading the instructions correctly for 1 which was my fault but once I had followed them it still did not latch into place. I spoke with the supplier of the plates. They said to take out the rubber bungs on the plate and see if it latches it did. So then I had to trim a mm of them and re fitted them. All is good now

The Trekker Outback 42 Ltr top-case, constructed from black finish aluminium, offers the possibility to load a full-face or a modular helmet. The reduced dimensions allow, on almost all motorcycle models, the ability to fully open the side cases without removing the lid. The flat lid and four strap loops are a standard feature of the Outback cases, and offer the possibility to store objects even on the top of the lid. Among the standard features is a mat made of soft material which, when placed on the bottom of the case, will absorb shock transmitted during riding.

What brackets etc do I need to fit this to a GS1300 thanks
January 9, 2025Your model bike requires SRA5143 or SR5143. SRA5143 can only be mounted on the aluminium rack with electromagnetic joint and floating plate for original top case. SR5143 is only fitted as a replacement for the original rack or handle, and can also be mounted with the original side cases. This also requires the M5, M8A, M8B, M9A, or M9B Monokey top plate.

December 21, 2024We can confirm that you shall require an SR1178 Rear Rack, which can be found by searching quickfind "501160", and a Monokey top plate - either M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A or M9B.

March 8, 2023Your model bike requires the fitting of the 1176FZ rear rack, found on quick find 498302, which will need to then be combined with one of the relevant Monokey Top Plates (M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A, M9B) in order to allow fitment of this top box.

June 6, 2019You require the SRA5119 Specific rear rack in aluminium for MONOKEY® top-cases. It has a maximum allowed load of 6kg / it does not allow the assembly of the stop light kit or the remote control device on the top-case / it can only be mounted to the original rack.
