Optimate SAE to 2.5mm DC Lead

Just plug it in to your existing sae connector (for my charger) and off you go as long as the fuse is the correct size for your gear added up, off you go zero hassle, brilliant

Great idea to allow me to power up my heated kit without adding another con ection to the battery. It's a well made quality item with all the necessary waterproofing. Can't fault order processing and next day delivery.

As I already had a battery tender lead connected to my bike this was an obvious choice for my gerbing heated jacket. Works perfectly!

Power my Keis heated jacket from a lead to the battery. Wanted to use the same battery lead to connect Optimate charger. The 2.5mm end of this lead is too big for the Keis plug from the battery. Chopped off the 2.5 and replaced with a smaller connector - all good now :)

I bought this to fit optimate charger and Gerbing heated jacket.
The cable is long - which of course, could be good but: when you place this so the socket is outside the bike for an easy plug into jacket or charger - you either have to have lots of the lead dangling OR if you keep it short, then the socket has a long stiff collar that sticks out a long way from the bike frame - like into your leg! Furthermore, with the Gerbing jacket and thermostat there is already too much cable length so you end up with even more (this) cable which needs rolling up into other clothes.
It seems to me that Gerbing need a coil cable from the thermostat and Optimate need a less stiff collar to the socket............
So, it works but lots of fiddling and tidying

Simple and effective method of connecting my heated gloves for a no hassle and warm winters ride.
A five year old could connect this to the battery it's that simple. Bring on the cold weather

A really great way to cut down on wires connected to the battery,this adaptor allows me to use the same plug for both Optimate and vest.

When you have your battery equipped with an optimate plug, then this is essential to connect the controller of the heated jacket. (jacket - controller - optimate SAE - optimate to battery wire) Recommend

I thought this was designed to fit in my Keis jacket's lead (the non-Optimate end) - it doesn't

Another great useful product for connecting easily with battery charger lead on my bike. Takes less than 5 minutes to fit, then connect to heated gloves and ride!

It does what it supposed to to do the quality it what you would expect very tight fit to the part that came with charger that this connects to.

I bought this because I was given a Gerbing heated jacket as a gift and I already had Optimate leads on the bikes, this handy lead means I don't need to install anything else onto the batteries and gives me a little bit more length between the jacket and the bike. Excellent solution.
