The first one l purchased fit to the bmw rack no problem that came when l tried to fit the Shad plate to it one set of holes didn't line up on measuring. So connected Sportsbikeshop who where very helpful was asked to send back the fitting kit and they would replace it which they did in a couple of days very good service 5 stars

As a much more cost efficient way to have a top box on the RS very happy.
Great quality but not as good looking as the BMW top plate.
Also a couple of the bolts supplied are too long and needed cutting down.
Sportsbikeshop are fantastic as always.

I've had two Givi boxes and fixing kits before. Decided to go for Shad this time and found it very easy to fit, of good quality and when the box plate and box are fitted it's very solid. No issues with bolt lengths as I've seen that others have had. Excellent service again from SBS as well.

BMW R1200RS kit.

Adapter Plate is nice quality with good coat of black satin paint. Had just one issue with two rearmost bolts being too long by 10mm. Need to be M6 x 35mm CSK. The supplied screws can be cut down if you have a hacksaw.They screw into blind holes in the BMW rack so must be shorter. The Shad plate that comes with the top box then went on easily with the fittings supplied. I put a little locktite on all screws to make sure they don't work out,
