Probably the most comfiest my bum has been but it's not cheap. You can definitely find cheaper cushions which may or may not be as good. Also be mindful if you're not a tall person this will obviously increase the saddle height. But you can sort of regulate that with the amount of air you decide to give it.

Really wanted to find this seat cushion as comfortable as what some reviews say ( including one of my mates who owns an Airhawk), but for me it wasn't the magic wand to cure bum ache on a 1400 mile long weekend.
Riding time before aches set in was extended but not by a lot ( maybe 45 mins extra) so I couldn't manage 200 miles without squirming and standing on the pegs etc.( R1150gs)
I tried the cushion on various levels of inflation and results were the same. So for me it wasn't really worth buying :-(
After buying the Ergo seat for my KTM GT and also having a standard seat altered, I was still suffering at only reasonable distances (50 miles). So, I bit the bullet and bought the Wild Ass. It's pretty well made with a good valve arrangement and straps easily around the seat. For sure it's the best solution I've tried and although I'm unlucky enough to be a bad sufferer, it has made 300 mile days bearable.
Once sat on it at the correct inflation level, it raises the seat height probably 10-15mm, gives a good contact (weight spread) and doesn't rock too much in the corners. Although I do remove it once at my destination for 'proper riding'.

Made of economical, lightweight polyurethane. Reduces painful pressure points, promotes blood circulation, reduces heat and moisture build-up and lowers shock and vibration better than any other low-cost comfort product on the market. Great for the budget conscious rider.
Wild Ass Air Gel (Polyurethane & Gel)
Made with three layers of polyurethane, making Wild Ass Air Gel more durable than Wild Ass Lite. In addition, gel pads inserted inside each individual air cell provide additional cushioning, shock absorption and vibration dampening. Air Gel can also be used without air when the rider wishes to feel 100% "close to the bike" yet needs some additional cushioning. A great mid-priced cushion for riders who have multiple comfort needs for short and long rides.

Hello, my air cushion deflates when I sit on it during the ride. I assume the cushion is either punctured or the valve has a leak. Is it possible to repair the cushion or if not, is it possible to purchase a new polyurethane cushion?
February 20, 2023The cushion normally comes when purchased with stick patch repair patches. Unfortunately, we are not able to purchase new polyurethane cushions.
