Oxford Level 2 Back Protector Insert

Although Oxfords level 2 back protector insert resembles a steam rolled SpongeBob, it fits snuggly into Oxford's Hinterland Jacket and becomes more flexible and comfortable as it warms up to body temperature.

The Velcro strip helps to hold it in position, and it is easy to install in the pocket of the jacket lining.

The downsides for me are that it is not adjustable in the Hinterland jacket and does not cover the lower portion of the back enough.

While Oxfords back protector is not outrageously expensive and is good value for the money, back protection really should be included with all jackets, regardless of make.

Inexpensive but will no doubt reduce the risk of a serious injury. Fits in Oxford jacket perfectly and not uncomfortable.

This is a perfectly good product which fits easily into the Oxford continental advanced jacket we bought for my step-son.
Five star service from Sportsbikeshop and the only reason I'm only giving the product four stars is that I believe that a back protector should be included with the jacket, not an optional extra at further cost on top of the jacket.

Good protector and comfortable. Oxford have come a long way in last few years. Wanted this for my wife's jacket but were out of stock at the time. Lady in the MK shop told me if I could wait til it came back in I could order it now and get the sale price. Got an email when it came back in , job done.
Only saved a few quid on this occasion but it's the service in this branch that keeps them top on my list when buying kit.

I was struggling to find a reasonably priced comfortable back protector for a denim jacket I have that come without one. I bought this one because I struggled to get The right one in the UK a protector that fit. so I bought this one as a level two and it comes with velcro adhesive. Makes it perfect. It's not as comfortable as d30 level 2 but it's almost half the price.

Great back protector very light and comfortable especially for the price! Fits perfectly in my Oxford Arizona air jacket.

Fits perfectly in to the pocket on my Montreal 4 Jacket and apart from a little extra weight you don't notice it much.

Very good value at £20. Will replace the elbow and shoulder pads next for CE2.

Fits well good quality

I bought an Oxford Mondial 2.0 jacket which strangely didn't come with this back protection!
I bought it separately.
It fits really easy into a mesh pocket on the internal of the jacket.
It's made of a soft material which dissappears once riding.
You'd be crazy not to ride without it.

I bought this to fit inside my new Oxford jacket and it is perfect. It is so comfortable I hardly know it is there. As for how good the protection is I hopefully will never test it.

I hope I never find out how good this back protector is. But can't understand why someone wouldn't buy one if your jacket didn't come with one. It's thick and covers a large area of the back, which is a big plus for me.
It's very comfortable, you don't know it's there. Recommended.

I bought this to improve the standard level 1 protection on a new Richa laminated jacket. It feels well made and good quality material but was a slightly snug fit into the pocket, but once inserted, I don't notice it being there. Hoping not to test its functionality.
