The fitting kit for the r1250rt is a bit of a faff. Anytime you have to drill out plastic parts to 16mm is going to be a pain. Ten bolts that are longer than they need to be and having to remove parts you have already fitted to put the next fixing plate on and try to get nuts in blind. In general not the easiest way to do things.
