I found it easy to fit with just a socket and allen key. I think the 39L suits the bike being just the right size for a helmet and some clothing and is of good value. IMOP I would keep fittings lose until base plate is fitted then fully tighten.

Simple to fit

I replaced my Givi bracket for the Shad bracket as I wanted to fit the Shad 3P pannier system, I don't like the Givi system as the box framework looks unsigtly on my bike, so opted to fit 100% Shad... it does look much better when the panniers are not fitted

Top box fitting kit

Fits bike well and connects to the pannier kit ..instruction need a bit if working out if fitting both top box kit and the panniers at the same time
,you just need to discard the mounting bracket in pannier kit then it makes sense ..solidly made and blends in well on the bike
