Shad SH50 Top Case - 50 Litre

Bought in the hope that it would fit both mine and my wife's full face helmets with intercoms and yea it does, just. Comes with the base plate and back rest which saves some money over the Givi stuff and fits perfectly with the shad rack bars which I used on my Kawasaki Z1000SX.

I really like every aspect of this box. Although it doesn't look massive on the bike, it always seems to have enough space in it, but I also like being able to open and close it without having to lock it (unlike my previous Givi), as well as the way the latch and plate fitting are firm amd positive. The base-plate is good too, and it perfectly matches my bike's colour-scheme!

I wouldn't wish to advise anyone to disregard manufacturer advice, but I imagine the stated load-capacity of 8kg errs substantially on the side of caution. However, if you're planning to use it for what you'd normally put in a suitcase, 8kg is a lot of clothes.
