Good padding but expensive for what it is

Good padding for the back rest and fitted exactly with the pre-marked drilling holes inside the SH58X box (I did not have any issues with the hole positioning in the box like other reviewers have mentioned).
Only marked down because I think it is expensive for what it is.

Drilling the holes

Great for comfort and they look great, however when fitting the top cushion take measurements before drilling due to markings inside the top box are incorrect at the wide end. Hope this helps out.

Extra comfort

Extra comfort for my wife when riding pillion. Reasonably good quality. Sadly, drill points on the back box did not mate up with the holes on the lower pad, 4mm discrepancy ...... Don't trust the drill marks on the box and make sure you measure before drilling ..... I wish I had!

I purchased the Shad SH58X and was really pleased with the quality, I changed bikes and decided the backrests would be useful.
The fit and finish looks good and makes a great addition to the bike.

Great addition to the top box

Having purchased the backrest for the Shad 58x top box, and fitted it with ease, my partner was delighted with its comfort. Fitting was easy as there were markings indicating the points to drill the screw holes internal to the box.

okay I like shad products, however this item isn't up to their usual quality, firstly there were screws missing which SBS replaced, then there is the item's quality itself, to be honest it's not great, the staples were loose, the stitching isn't lined up properly and the price is too much for such a small item, advise you check before you buy

Perfects addition to the box

Everything you need to install the rest comes in the box except a drill bit and screwdriver. Instructions were easy to follow. I installed the rest within 20 mins. The rest seems to he of good quality.

Very comfortable for pillion on a Shad Top box

Bought this to go with my Shad 58X top box. Mrs and kids find it very comfortable. Very quick and easy to install, there are clear drill hole markers and took around 30mins to install. Complements the top box totally.
