Shark VZ16014 Max Vision Clear Visor V7 - Road Legal

Ordered from the website after checking at the Bristol store as to the correct visor. Initially the part was out of stock and was given an approximate delivery date. A well packaged visor arrived before the suggested date so I was happy.
I read all the reviews before I purchased and was a little worried as some people manage to break the visor during fitting. I was careful and the new visor fitted easily and I have subsequently removed and refitted without problems.
Excellent service from SportsBikeShop as usual.

Visor was the best priced one I could find on the internet, turned up a day earlier than expected. It was well packaged and very easy to clip into place.
Would definitely recommend.

Ordered Shark visor. Notified out of stock awaiting delivery and given option to cancel at no penalty. Kept order live and delivered within indicated time frame. Kept informed at all stages. Excellent service yet again

As per other peoples comments and problems, my fourth replacement in 18 months, I only ride every couple of weeks for pleasure and hate to think how many I would have needed if I biked everyday. Clearly a design fault that is not being addressed, cracking at point of helmet attachment. Now bought another helmet brand and would stay away from Shark in future.

I gave 2 stars as the service from Sportsbikeshop was excellent (as usual!) Ordered late Friday afternoon after the original broke earlier that day. Arrived the next day. The visor was just over a year old, but only used about 15 times in that time. Reading other reviews it looks like a serious flaw with the design of the visor.

Strong and Robust Visor for my New Shark Helmet. Very Easy to fit and install on Lid . Easy to clean.

This is the fourth replacement visor I've had, always breaks in the same place where it attaches to the helmet.
A real shame, as helmet itself is comfy and stylish.

This is the second replacement visor for this helmet, they always break in the same place (where visor attached to helmet) start's with small hair line cracks which eventually break, a friend of mine has gone through 5 replacement visor's, eventually they replaced the helmet, clearly a design fault, mine is the shark skwal, would never buy another because of this fault.

The vz160 visor is particularly weak where it connects to the helmet and is prone to cracking and then snapping.

The amount of torsion put through the joint when you open/ close the helmet using the thumb tab causes this visor to snap.

For the price this is a poor replacement visor.

Absolutely fine, was just a replacement for one that broke.

Does what it says on the tin.

Perfect factory quality. The Speed R2 visor is thicker, but I hope that won't be a problem either. The pinlock fits it well.
